Yes that type of music. The jazzy, lively type. I am getting a taste for it.

Aint that a kick in the head-Dean Martin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sTP994tOMk

Heigh Ho-Gail Reese  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xiZuC8rsuk

Mr Sandman- The Chordettes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tU5CVTfJAOM

Anyone have anymore suggestions?

The Chordettes also did "Lollipop" -- You should look it up.

I've got a Doo-Wop CD right here beside me. Here are some good tracks:

Blue Moon -- The Marcels
Sh-Boom -- The Chords
Little Star -- The Silhouettes
Why do Fools Fall in Love -- Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers
What's Your Name -- Don and Juan

And there's also songs by Annette Hanshaw, who was really active in the late 20's and early 30's. You should listen to Daddy Won't You Please Come Home and Mean to Me, among others.

Anyway, that's some of the stuff I listen to. I might post more later.
Meh.

It's good to know that respect for good music still exists! Thanks I'd forgotten a lot of these songs.

I'm glad Fallout made more people have a taste for these kind of songs.

Strangers in the Night

I know this really became popular in the sixties due to Frank Sinatra's performance, but I like it (and I like Cake's performance of it better *dodges tomatoes*)

@Luke Fox: As a matter of fact, I heard Over the Rainbow on Warm 106.9 FM just the other day when I went to town with my grandfather. He loves that station, he used to listen to it when he worked in the office.
