Mayday Parade (2011) - Mayday Parade
I've listened to all the music on the album. I have no complaints. You wouldn't think I'm a person to listen to Alternative music, but I love it!

2 great albums I love to listen to over and over.

Torches(2011)- Foster the People - This band had gotten famous off of their single "Pumped Up Kicks" and had recieved a outstanding feedback. With their album "Torches" they never go wrong in any part of it. Some songs stick out more than other like Helena Beat, Houdini and (of course) Pumped Up Kicks but every song is brilliant in its own way and for that, deserves to be bought if possible.

Parachutes(2000)- Coldplay - Coldplay's very first album, and my very first alternative (they were alternative at the time) band. This album is more like a relaxing set of songs that tend to be played when somebody is trying to chill. I have listened to this album over and over when I was about 12 and I still listen to it now. Some may prefer X & Y and I can see why due to the album being at the time when Coldplay was in its prime but there is something about Parachutes that just appeals to me more than X & Y.

Those are my favourite albums of so far and with detail :).

*high fives*

Two more of my favorite albums!
On my top ~250 albums list, Parachutes is 6th and Torches is 27th.
I'd love to hear what other albums you like!

Also, in my experience from reading countless reviews and such, X & Y was usually considered Coldplay's weakest album until Mylo Xyloto came out. Personally, I think Viva La Vida is their weakest, but I still enjoy it very much (43rd on my list).  :fox-:):

You weren't lying! This is good, and I'm really picky.

I would also include
Hollywood Undead - Notes From The Underground - Rock/Rap (hard genre to be placed in)
Issues - Black Diamonds - Post Hardcore

(:

EDIT(s):
We Came as Romans - To Plant a Seed ^^ (Can't believe I forgot that one) - Post-Hardcore

I'm seeing lot's of good stuff from everyone which is great! And as for me, one album that I absolutely Love is:

"The Campfire Headphase" by Boards of Canada. It's like, a relaxing electronic album that I listen to whenever I feel really stressed out.

At the moment for me,
Galaxy Garden-Lone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Foah2NKvomY this is my favorite song off the LP. I think this shit's gold!)
Unknown Pleasures-Joy Division
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea-Neutral Milk Hotel (Who saw that coming? xD)
The OF Tape Vol 2-OFWGKTA
Giant Steps-John Coltrane
Milestones-Miles Davis
Sing a New Sapling Into Existence-Kona Triangle
Nostalgia, Ultra.-Frank Ocean
Cosmogramma-Flying Lotus
United Acid Emirates-Ceephax Acid Crew
Butter-Hudson Mohawke
Music Has the Right to Children-Boards of Canada
Geogaddi-Boards of Canada
Biophilia-Bjork
Big Loada-Squarepusher (Really sick EP. I love his use of his jazz influenced bass in his own IDM view of DnB)
Ultravisitor-Squarepusher
Ufabulum-Squarepusher
Wide Angle-Hybrid
DrukQs-Aphex Twin
Songs About My Cats-Venetian Snares

Yeah, that's as of the past 6 months. Hahahaha. Very eclectic grouping of albums. Everything from Jazz to IDM to alternative hip-hop. I'm still digging it! (and if you were unable to tell, yes I'm a WARP records fanboy. :P)
