Before I change my mind again, what do you guys think of this so far?



Sorry for the cruddy photos.
This is still a major WIP, especially the muzzle and I'm still working on shaping the cheeks, just want opinions on it so far, maybe things I can improve on that I don't see yet ^^
The eyes are also subject to change but I think this is at least the shape I'll be using! I'm still flattening the area so the eyes lay mostly flat.
I'm still not sure how I want to make the ears so she has no ears yet XD

This was originally ment to be Rose my stufful sona but I'm seriously thinking of making it a Halloween themed black cat, already have plenty of black in short, 1inch, and 2inch variety XD plenty of white too including some really nice 4inch that I got a couple years ago that I only used for Roses tail! All I would need is orange if I decide to use it in the design!
Still thinking though X3

It'll probably look a bit bigger on me since the mannequin's head is so much bigger than mine (got a tiny 22in round head :'3)

Anyone here knows how to make a good fursuit (more specifically, a toony foam fursuit head 'cause that's where I'm starting) and know any place to get good materials? (I shop at Hobby Lobby for craft stuff, just in case anyone knows good supplies from there.) Thanks!

You might want to talk to them further about this. All art, including fursuits, is a luxury not a necessity, art takes a lot of time, effort and skill to make. It shouldn't be assumed that an artist would work for free, artists deserve to be paid for their skill and time and unless they explicitly offered to do something for free it's pretty disrespectful towards them and their craft to expect something for free. Generally if you express interest in wanting art from an artist they're going to assume you're going to pay for it, similarly if you go into McDonald's and say you want a burger they expect you're going to pay for your order. And especially in the case of a fursuit where it's not only a timely complicated piece of art to make but actual money needs to be spent on materials to construct it it's very unlikely that this artist is going to work for free. If the artist themself offered ahead of time that's different, and incredibly kind of them but if not you shouldn't assume and contact them before they go out and start spending their money on supplies for a project you have no intention of paying for
Sorry for being so forward, fursuits are definitely really fun and I totally know why you want one! (I've been wanting one for four years myself, and have just finally bought one recently) but they're also wearable one of a kind pieces of art and that's why they cost money, it just takes some hard work and good saving habits to afford one ^^
