As I said on another thread:

A Jian (think the Chinese equivalent of a rapier, there's also a Wikipedia article on em)

2 katanas One long one normal-ish, The long one has a hidden dagger built into the handle, so its my favorite weapon i own just for sheer awesomeness of being able to say I have a knife in my sword..

1 decoritive dagger I call my bubblegum blade (I got bubble gum on it and the name stuck in my head) I got this from my handicapped uncle, so I treasure it alot. Its also really sharp for some reason :P

And then a variety of training weapons (I used to practice with a group that went by zeal and we tried to teach and learn from our own experiences with weapons, so we used alot of wooden and hard plastic weapons, because fighting to the death in a public park generally sounded like a bad idea.)

I have a dagger which is about 10 inches long which I bought from some pirate shop on holiday. Yes it was an impulse buy because it looked pretty cool and was cheap. It sits in a cupboard wasting space. The only use for it is pulling it in and out of its scabbard thingy :D

These are the favorites.

From top to bottom:

Buck 119, my camping knife

Some cheap Browning lockback, usually rides in my pocket for all the cutting tasks I don't want to risk a nicer blade on

ColdSteel TiLite, rides in my pocket for the heavier duty cutting and just in case

M-Tech Twist, just for fun. Was the best bali on the market under $80 but then they just up and vanished
http://youtu.be/DnCwmyp87TQ

"Milano" $13 china made Stiletto, again just for fun

and a Field and Stream "Survival" knife, got it because it was on sale for $10. Probably won't ever use it, like most hollow handle novelty field knives it's an incredibly weak design. Absolutely no tang and the blade is held in a plastic coupler in the handle by a spring pin.

A Chevy Trucks Leatherman, and two moneyclips with small blades. My dad has a few swords, and my family has knives for cooking.

okay, furries have a strange draw to all things sharp and metallic. thus alot of us own blades. I own two. a ruko folding knife and a buck banom. this os just going to be a genreal knife care, talk, opinions, and story telling thread. I will start with a question every fool who is learning to sharpen his own knives asks. "how do I get these scuffs out?" as well as, "what in the heck. am I doing this right?"

Besides from some kitchen utensils and a stanley knife, I don't really own that many knives or bladed objects. I'm not really that much of a weaponary aficionado. But my brother actually has quite a passive interest in knives, owning a couple of pocket knives of his own.

okay, furries have a strange draw to all things sharp and metallic.
Really? I wouldn't have imagined that. Furries, collectively speaking, are fans of anthropomorphic animals. So I didn't think that there would be that much of an interest in sharp and metallic things like knives. Oh well, I guess this thread serves to prove me wrong.

OKAY, HEY, YOU GUISE.

YOU'LL NEVER GUESS.

I made my own sword! Woo! \0/ Not only that, but I've also crafted a machete that is perfect for it's job because of how lightweight it is and it's just the right sharpness and made of hardened steel.

I will so post pictures when I finish painting and adding handles to both! Plus, I have a couple of extra goodies.
