I don't have any fursonas with Japanese names, but I'm going to name my dog Kaede (楓) when I get her. I think it's the prettiest little name <3 It means 'maple.'

I like the name Kimiko.
It's so bubbly and happy sounding.

I have a deer OC named Kimiko :'D
That was actually one of the options for Katsuro's name when I made him.
Katsumi is another nice one.

I also named my dog Sora, since that's one of my favorite Japanese words. A couple of my characters have it in their name too (my protogen Onyx Sora Darkheart and my stoat Sora Arashi).

I used to have characters and sonas that had japanese names. Not anymore, though. Unless they're actually japanese.
I just think the names are pretty. My very first sona's name was Momo, and I'm sure I had more japanese named sonas after that.

Foxi's middle name (and technically real name) is Kitsune, so I guess I put some Japanese in her name too.
