Star Wars: The old republic
« on: January 18, 2012, 10:04:44 pm »
So is anyone else playing this?

I'm playing on 3 servers,
Master Gnost-Dural
Lord Ieldis
and Krath

This game is now my favorite MMO. And I'm looking to see if anyone else plays so that way I can make some friends in game and such. Maybe even a guild if there's enough of us.

I got to around level 20ish.
Game didn't feel fluid at all. So clunky.
The PvP also was wonky as hell.

The story and quests are somewhat awesome, but not awesome enough for about 15$ a month.
I still have like a week of free time though, but don't see myself playing it much.

Though he is known as the Swift Scout, it is clear that Teemo is actually something else - the unrepentant assassin of Bandle City

^ thats too bad. I thought it all worked together really well.
But I've played everything from everquest to spiral knights. So for me, story is a wonderful change of pace.

SW;TOR is a brilliant game and has got a lot of content in it. But as Mr Teemo (Annoying LoL champ) says:
I got to around level 20ish.

The PvP also was wonky as hell.

The story and quests are somewhat awesome, but not awesome enough for about 15$ a month.

And I have to pretty much say the same thing, may be a chance I will come back.

Hello

I know this topic is old, but I wish to know something :x

I'm hesitating about buying this game or not. I tried it and enjoy it a lot, but the problem is I don't wish to buy it if I will play at this game a few of months then stop. Maybe if people here play this game, or if there is a furry guild, I will maybe start this game and probably play for a long time with you ^^'

Thank you

Well so far as I can tell I'm the only one who plays on a regular basis. I'm noticing that its a lot more fun if your a star wars fan who really liked the KoTOR games. Aaannnd you like MMO's. *shrugs* Or you really like star fox. Because thats what I think of every time I do one of the space battles.

Btw, if anyone is reading this and hasn't played the game yet but wants to give it a shot they gave me 3 free passes so send me a pm and I can get you a 7 day trial of the game if your interested.

Honestly, I think this game will get much better with time. But hey, everyone has different opinions.

I did,'t play kotor; but I played a few of star wars games ^^"
Maybe I can get a pass and try the game more than a few hours ^^' just in case...

otherwise, playing with a regular little group would be perfect to really enjoy the game

After me getting really bored due to me waiting for my (unconfirmed) Guild Wars 2 beta key, I decided to try and get through the rest of the game and maybe do some higher level content.

I have not rethought my opinion but I have reconsidered the PVP. Basically it is very slow to start with but when you get up to the final part of your first chapter, then you will find that it is a bit more fun. I find it quite sad that I can't find a group without waiting an hour for a whole dungeon, and that a fair few has unsubscribed. It is a game that is worth it but I don't blame them if they don't like it (especially if they are ex Wow players) but give it a try before you make any sort of judgment.
