Korn- Issues
« on: June 20, 2012, 08:38:04 pm »
Ahh, I'm reviewing yet another gem of 90's culture, Korn's album, Issues. Released in 1999, this is, in my opinion, the best Korn album musically. The nu metal sound is melded with influences of the 90's rap/hip-hop, especially in the bass lines, and the lyrics follow the same theme, the issues and regrets of Jonathan Davis, the lead singer. This is a great album, but it's not for those who dislike Korn's sound. If you do like Korn's sound, and haven't heard this album, I would highly advise listening to it RIGHT NOW!

                                                                                         With love,
                                                                                                        Karasu
I am the ocean
I am the sea
There is a world
Inside of me
Lost in the abyss
Drowned in the deep
No set of lungs could salvage me

I agree with you sir, i too think this is their best album.

Care to do one on Nine Inch Nails "Pretty Hate Machine?" I think that one came out in '89

Okay, so this is old-school Korn, right? I'd like to know, because their sound has changed, I'd like to know if this is original.
