Sparrow;

Biology - received dux of grade 11 in 2012, achieved between A- / A+ in every piece of work for 2012, 92% in my exam for 2012, etc. (I know my biology stuff, ok.)
Ecology/Zoology is my strong point especially as animals and the environment are some of my main interests. I have a lot of background knowledge with animals / am studying to become a zoologist, so i'm pretty passionate and willing to discuss and assist anyone who needs help in this topic, as well as biology in general.
Japanese - studied Japanese since grade 8, maintained B grades in all my work, have been to Japan for 2 weeks studying the language and culture. I have a lot of background knowledge as well as learned knowledge in both the language and culture. I know all the basic such as kana/most basic kanji/grammar and sentence construction/phrases/etc etc and an ever-expanding vocabulary. As stated before, I know a lot about the culture (particularly regarding religion, lifestyles, cuisine, and youth culture) and have been to Japan.
I'm not interested/I don't have time for teaching people from scratch, but if you need help with schoolwork I'd be happy to help. you can send me PMs here or contact me on my dA or FA, and i'll give you my skype.

Hey. I fancy myself a smart guy, and I'm a peer tutor in school too, so why not practice Communism and share the wealth?

What I excel at
  • Mathematics (all levels up to Calculus 1)
  • Physics (Kinematics, waves)
  • Spanish (Anything)
  • Music (Learning, Playing, Understanding)

I hate to say that I love school, but the world has so much stuff!
Also, I'm a huge fan of quantum physics, so if you want to just have a discussion on that, or anything on that matter, just send me a chat.

Well, I guess it's about time I lend a hand here as well. Hopefully I can provide some assistance to anyone who needs it! :)

What's up guys? :) At the time of posting this, I am going into my grade 12 year in high school. I completed both Advanced Math 11 and Advanced Math 12 with rock solid marks, and I'm taking Pre Calculus and Calculus this coming year. So if you have any math questions, feel free to ask away! I can also help out in sciences, as I have taken grade 11 level Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This coming year I am taking grade 12 Biology and Chemistry, so feel free to ask questions about those too! I also know a thing or two about English and Music.

Oh yeah, this is an extremely huge longshot but if you have any questions about hockey goalie gear, I AM YOUR CAT! Hahaha I'd be be shocked if that ever came in handy, but hey I'll throw it in! Can't hurt!

In Summary

I am strong in:
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Biology

And don't be afriad to ask about:
- English
- Physics
- Music (band)

Contact details:
- You can reach me on Skype: SZSubzero
- PM me on here

Those two ways are the best ways to contact me. Don't be shy! :P

I'm pretty broad and shallow in my experience, so general help most the way to college I can likely help with if you're in need and someone on the list that is a specialist isn't handy. I am weak in math. My one major strength is computing, and my Associate's is in Computer Science with a focus on Video Game Design. I've had several years of art, several years of English, and several years of Computer Science.

Contact me, most specifically, for...
  • Computer Science (General Topics)
    • History (Origins to Today)
    • Networking Architecture and Theory
    • Theoretical Computing (Finite State Machines, Cellular Automata, Turing Machines, Regular Expressions, etc)
    • Operating Systems Design and Theory
  • Programming
    • 8086 Assembler (Only took one year, so not so great at this)
    • ActionScript3 <== my current main focus, and for the last couple years.
    • BASIC (MSBASIC and TI-BASIC dialects)
    • C++ <== Former instructor of first year college students
    • Java
    • Python <== Former instructor by arrangement for topic lectures
    • Ruby
  • Video Game Design
    • This experience is pretty well spread in everything, but most of my experience is in programming. Ask if you have a topic you'd like help with. I cannot invest huge amounts of time in a game programming project. I can, however, help get you situated if it's in one of the above languages and help you with specific issues as they arise in your code base. I do not use a GUI-based editor to do game programming, for many reasons, so I can't really help you with Game Maker, RPG Maker, Adobe's Creative Suite, or anything like that. The joke goes that I am not an artist, I'm an engineer - a software engineer.

I am a Linux user; Debian family Linuxes (Knoppix, Ubuntu, Mint... There are too many to count...) are my focus with one server and one laptop running. Should you need help with that, feel free to contact me.

My best contact details are that you can reach me through three main venues:

XMPP/Jabber: that.guy@darkglass.net (up almost all the time but I'm not always at my laptop)
Yahoo IM!: copb.phoenix (up only slightly less than XMPP)
Email: that.guy@darkglass.net

If you need me to add a new client to my repertoire (or dig out an old one that I've abandoned), shoot me an email and we'll get it together. Just because I don't answer immediately doesn't mean I won't answer; I almost always answer within 12 hours.

There is no specific time to contact me that's ideal over any other. Just feel free to message me; I have no formal employment and so the vast majority of my time is at my own discretion. I love to teach, so... yeah. I'm up usually from mid-afternoon to mid-morning (USA Eastern), and I often party on the weekends; your best gauge for your luck at any given time is my post times graph here on FT.

I think that's plenty enough for a post here XD

I've posted here in the past but I guess my name never got put up, or I went inactive shortly after.

Hi. My name is Jethro, and my real name is Dan. You can call me whatever you wish. I'm currently in college, studying civil engineering. Throughout highschool, I was a peer tutor for many people, and I took all honors/advanced placement courses.

I'm great with basically anything school related. I can help you study any subject, increase your work ethic.

Areas I excel in
  • Math (any level, any subject). Currently in Advanced Calculus 2
  • Physics. Mechanics only! I never learned electricity or thermodynamics!  Edit: I have! But I'm a lot better in mechanics.
  • Spanish. I understand Spanish very well. I took AP Spanish 4 in high school and I'm going to Spain for two weeks this summer.

Areas I know/am average in
  • Chemistry. I understand a good amount of it. Can probably help.
  • Music/Music Theory. I took a class on this. I've played the saxophone for around 10 years.
  • Programing. I took a very basic robotic programming course. I'm familiar with some of the software.

Areas I tend to avoid
  • History
  • English
  • Biology

If you wish to contact me, you could message me here, or on my skype (Jethro7474).  I'm usually available throughout the day and I can probably respond within 10 hours.

I've posted here before, but I've been inactive for a few months so might as well make a new post.

I'm really good in the fields of

philosophy,
history,
sociology, and
English.

Add me on skype, my user name is TheIrishHusky. Or you could send me a email at TheIrishHusky@gmail.com. But in all honesty to would be easier for me to help via Skype.

I think I posted here before, but I'd like to update my specialties.

I am a biology major at a private research university and have been top of my class in:
- General chemistry
- Introductory organic chemistry (I have yet to take the more advanced portion of the course)
- General biology and physiology

I also scored a 5 on the Spanish language AP exam and speak the language fluently.

I scored a 4 on the English language AP exam and would be more than happy to proofread essays, short stories, etc.

PM me for my Skype. My schedule is extremely hectic, but I'll do my best to accommodate.

I can be an English tutor.
Used to read 3-5 books a week and majored in English for two years. I specialize in essay/general writing help.

English but the reading and analyzing side not the writing aspect, so things like when your teacher asks you to analyze a text or questions about deeper meanings of a certain part of text (eg why are the curtains blue, or why did the author decide to portray a certain character a certain way) if you ever need help with this sort of stuff feel free to pm me here, send me an email or message me on Skype, both my email and Skype can be found on my profile :fox-:):
