Relaxing songs.
« on: January 11, 2013, 08:49:53 pm »
What songs just make you totally detach from reality and relax?

For me?

- Narcolepsy- Ben Folds Five

- Levi Johnston Blue's- Ben Folds/Nick Hornby (I love the strings in this one)

- Selfless, Cold and Composed- Ben Folds Five

Ben Fold's songs vary from funny, introspective, sad, or happy.

Going through and picking individual songs is a bit tedious, so I'll just mention genres and artists
Anything of the trip hop genre including Massive Attack and Zero 7
Minimal techno and Nu-jazz are also quite relaxing genres
And we can never forget ambient

Also, The Verve <3

Agreed.
I prefer to sleep to songs that are either downtempo, smooth and flowing, or excessively repetitive, but with a good calming melody.
