I forgot to vote and when I did (80's to 90's) it was amazing seeing everyone else (4 voters total) has agreed the same. But I do like 60's to 70's, but have only skirted around the 70's so far after buying a vintage vinyl Ziggy Stardust and a Led Zep. Its when we play the original records that we get to hear the original analogue High Fidelity. And I tell you guys what, vinyl when played on a record deck absolutely beats the pants off any digital music CD.

Today was decade day at school. One of my teachers played some to date music, and, most of it sucked. She has the worst taste! Only one song to my liking.

70's, 80's and 90's music is like cocaine infused chocolate. It makes me happy. Some of the best albums and artists were in their prime. I'm talking Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, The Cars, Electric Light Orchestra, ACDC, Wheezer, Smashing Pumpkins, the list goes on and on.

I pretty much like all decades of music except today's music because it sucks, and is built on gimmicks.

Only thing from today's music I like is modern metal (including some metalcore).

Sorry but this generation of music is very sorry.
80's is in my opinion one of the very best music generations.

I've posted here before, but I feel like that's a massive generalization.

Chart music isn't the only music that exists. In fact, a lot of 'today's generation' music is very good, if you're willing to delve into mainly independent artists.

Just because the decade has changed doesn't mean the style of music has. The major thing that's changed in the past few years is genres that are influenced by computers. Just because that's hitting a high doesn't mean that other artists don't exist.

I really love 80s music. There's so many great artists and singles from that decade that I absolutely adore. It was such a culturally significant time and culture.
But I also love a lot of music from the 40s, 30s and even quite a lot of classical music. I really love hearing quaint and 'old-timey' music.

There's not a lot of music that I enjoy from the past couple of decades. Or at least not anything in the charts. I do like some indie artists and dubstep though.

I agree with this 100%

Many "classic rock elitists" (I used to mildly fit into that category) are under the impression that what you hear on the radio is a good representation of a time period's entire musical array. In reality, the number of active musicians (spanning many genres) is increasing exponentially.

All music is from God.  No matter how bad the lyrics are and how crazy the creators are, music in itself is a gift.
Still confused? Then perhaps this will enlighten you!

After hearing Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, and similar bands being played repeatedly over and over on my local radio, my opinion on 80s-90s music is the same as my opinion on 80s-90s cars; shitty. There is so few bands I like from that era
I'm voting 50s and earlier. Definitely pleasant music for me. I can't get enough of the jazz.
no offense to anyone tho<3
