Jurassic World
Something something Mercedes, don't bring 4 year olds to a movie rated pg-13 just because it has dinosaurs. I couldn't hear the movie for the last 1.5 hours. This movie is 2 hours long.
Don't see the summer blockbuster on the discount day.

Inside Out 10/10

Pixar really blew me away with this one. The concept was very original and interesting, however a tricky one to work with so could have gone really good or bad, but Pixar managed to make it really good. They covered a lot of things that go on in people's minds and explained them in a very creative and interesting way. The story was also very touching and I may have teared up a bit at certain parts :$

Pretty much my thoughts.
It is marketed as a kids' movie, so even though I'm pretty emotional about all movies, I didn't expect it to invoke SUCH a big emotional response. It was cute and clever, yet explained deep concepts pretty well and is even more compelling if you've experienced what they do in the movie.

I give it a 9/10, would be 10 but I couldn't stand the core message. I can't really explain it because of spoilers; but for a movie about a very real and very dangerous concept, the solution they came to was extremely unrealistic. I'm aggravated that they taught kids that everything is always rainbows and butterflies, even if you yourself is suffering.

Blazing Saddles     9/10

This is my favorite comedy by far. It's a shame how we'll never get a good movie like this again because of all the politically-correct PC vultures nowadays. If you aren't easily offended like some people, this movie has plenty of racial humor.  :thumleft:

Ted 2: 7/10

It was so stupid, I'm not gonna lie. However, I liked it far better than the first one. It had more of a plot, the jokes weren't as bad, and there was a lot less drug use which I liked. It still wasn't a great movie, but if you like that kind of humor or are just looking for something fun to watch, I'd suggest it.

Max: 8/10

I got to see this at a pre-screening at work a little while ago and I don't remember writing about it. So this is the movie about the Marine Dog. It was far better than I thought it would be. It was kind of touching? And was a good family movie I think. It felt more like a kids movie than a movie for adults, but I think any age could enjoy it. Dialogue was iffy at times but hey.

Ant-Man

9/10

I thought this movie looked awesome. I was totally right. I'm not usually a super hero fan, and going into it you might be like "He just gets small. That's not totally useful."

They do a fabulous job with the entire movie. It's got a good balance of action and comedy, and has some likable characters.

PSA there are 2 credits scenes. one in the middle, one at the end.

Dear White People - 9.5/10

A really good and funny commentary on race in college and just in general. Actually pretty realistic since I've had to deal with a lot of the stereotypes they portray in that movie. Also I think it had a nice plot twist and honestly unless you're really sensitive it's not offensive to white people. I know it got worse ratings then it should because some people were offended but honestly this is real stuff that happens.

Lost a half point cause kinda choppy feel at points

Ant Man 9/10

Marvel does it again and I think it's a great movie as both a standalone and as a tie in to the marvel cinematic universe. It has some great humor and the acting is superb. My one complaint is that the villain is kinda 2-d and doesn't have that much pf a personality besides "I'm evil, muahah"
Coaster element of the forever :p

Skyrush's stengel dive! The most intense element I have ever experienced that combines unbelievable laterals with thigh crushing airtime. Insane is an understatement.

9/10 Inside Out

Really great movie! Although it kinda isn't a "kid friendly" movie in my opinion, there's a lot of references and events a kid wouldn't understand, but as for a teen like me, it's perfect, and it really makes you think.
Great morale of balance in life <3 Something my mother emphasizes.
