Doctor Strange - 10/10
I think Marvel did a really good job with the CGI.

Wonder Woman 1000/10 loved it so much and saw it multiple times

Captain Underpants 10/10 movie was not exactly what I'd call good but since I snuck to buy tickets instead of going to the library I think it was overall a fun experience; anything forbidden is a million times more desired hah

Felidae 5/10

A decent flick, but not one I felt really engulfed in. The animation is fantastic and as a gore fan I love how gritty this film can be. It's just very refreshing to see a more adult animated film that isn't a comedy or anime. However, I didn't like the writing too much. Key plot elements that popped up here and there, I didn't understand until the main character summed it up near the end of the movie. Speaking of that, he figured out the mystery without knowing a lot of evidence? Just seems rushed if you ask me. The main character has no motivation for what he does, and even the villain's motivation confuses me by just a bit. When you acknowledge the rushed feel of the writing, everything else kinda seems like it's only there for shock value. And the conclusion didn't really feel complete either? From what I know, this film was based off a book, and I understand it can be hard to translate from writing to the big screen sometimes. I feel the sort of events that take place in this movie are the kind that are better understood and connected to when you read them off paper rather than watching it play out in front of you. With that said, I did like the content in this movie, but it seemed like it had a rough translation from book to film, and I think sometime I'll read the books. I have a feeling it would be much better in the form of literature, so that's something I think I'll do this summer.

The Mummy (1932)

Rating: 8/10

This B&W movie running 1 hour and 13 minutes is a wonderful movie in the way that it recounts the entire tale that would eventually be used in Brendan Fraser's The Mummy, but with less stretching-out that that 2 hour long movie would eventually have. For those of you who don't know, Boris Karloff and Zita Johann were amazing actors for their time. This movie surely beats out Brendan Fraser's version and most likely Tom Cruise's version in my opinion.

Plague Dogs 10/10

Wow, what an amazing movie! This film has a rep for being a gritty movie that contains a lot of Animal Testing scenes, but that's only the first 15 minutes. The rest of the story is about the main characters learning to live in the wild, and it's told very well. There's not a lot of gore as people say, but when there is, it makes for a great shock scene. The characters had a lot of depth and I connected with them very well. The animations a bit dated and stiff, but honestly I like it that way. It fits the tone of the movie well. This was a very emotional film that reminded me a lot like Homeward Bound, but darker. I think it may be a new favorite of mine.

For some reason my sister bought The Secret Life of Pets, so...5/10.

It's story was cliche and very simple. I get it that little children have a hard time tracking stories, but that's no reason to make a movie that should've been marketed to 10 and under and then label it a "family" movie. It's more a "children's" movie for certain.

I haven't seen this movie in a while but I agree with what you said ^^ it had a lot of potential to be really cool and original but was by Illumination Animation so :fox-:P:
(They're the company who made the minions movie and Sing (aka lets mix the X factor and Zootopia because they're so popular!). Their budgets are about half of a Disney film so you get what they paid for)

As for the last movie I saw that'd be Ice Age Collission corse and I give it a 0/10
I used to really like the ice age movies as a child but this was quite possibly the worst movie I've seen in my whole life. The jokes didn't work, the characters are horrible, there was too many characters to keep track off, the plot was crappy and it was so confusing. The original ice age was supposed to take place in the "real world" (obviously not realistic but you know physics exists and manic doesn't) but they threw all that out the window with this movie.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back 10/10. I know it's a bit late, but I just now saw it. Great movie. I have to say I liked the first better. You can't get much better than that. But overall it was a good movie. I love Tom Cruise movies, though, so don't mind me.

Descendants 3/10
Like it wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen but it was pretty bad. I get it was a Disney channel movie so it had a low budget but like that isn't an excuse for throwing logic out the window and having an extremely shitty main character. The idea of this movie was amazing and really intrigued me which is why I watched it. I'd love to see it tried again but with only one child of one villain in one movies setting in that movies era and with that child actually wanting to be good and struggling with their parents influence/their nature. That would be a damn good movie if done right and meant for an older audience and I'd be jumping in line to see it. Of course though this movie used 4 villains from completely different worlds (evil queen and Maleficent may have worked well together for example but their is no magic in cruela da Vils world so it makes no sense to mix her in). It's set in modern time in the cringiest of lands "United States of ___ kingdom name". Idk how we got from belle and beast living in an era with castles and magic and huntsmen to today in a time frame of 20 years max. Putting that logistics aside the main character was shit. Idk how anyone was supposed to like her or feel bad for her??? She literally wanted to be evil, she only left Evil Landtm to go get the wand so she could be evil with her mom. There was no conflict, she littterly wanted to be evil. Then everyone was making fun of her for being evil when that's who she wanted to be?? Why am I supossed to feel bad? She wants to destroy their land, she's EXACTLY who they they think she is. You know if she had wanted to be good and was fighting with her evil nature/family I could see it but that wasn't what happened. She was 100% on board with destroying the kingdom until the very end of the movie where she randomly decides to turn good. There wasn't any incident that made her decide to turn good she just did. I'm just so angry because this movie had a lot of potential but it was ruined by port characters, poor writing and lack of logic. I get it's a movie meant for kids but even if then had just given Mal a little bit of struggle from the beginning about her wanting to be good it would have been so much better.

Misery 8/10
It's based on something Stephen King wrote, so that definitely means it's going to be interesting. I have yet to read the book, however, so I don't think I can fully appreciate it. It's up next on my list of novels I need to read, though. The acting and plot are engaging, and it's eerie without being outright frightening. It's something to look into if you like grim themes and suspense.
