Every time I turn on my PS2 to play Gran Turismo 3 or 4.
The series was so great back then, nearly ten years ago, and I can almost forgive Polyphony for the disappointment of 5 and 6 of the PS3 era.
GT4 was one of the first racing games  I have played and by far my favorite despite the flaws it had.

Playing wolfenstein the new order, reminds me so much of my childhood.

Lots of stuff from the Late-90s and Early-2000s in general. That's were most of the memories of my childhood come from. Things like old computers, the original Playstation, Children's shows like The Teletubbies and and movies like Shrek. Though when I say Shrek, I mean before he was supposedly a prolific sex offender the leader of a cult of personality. Or in other words before he became as edgy meme founded upon irony. The internet has a penchant for ruining my childhood. :c

At the start of every summer I turn on my old consoles to just check there still working. Today I turned on my Xbox and I didn't know I left GTA Vice City in the disk tray (thankful wasn't damaged) and when I got it connected to the t.v. it was playing the beginning trailer theme music thing. Considering this was where I spent most of my childhood it brought back lots of memories :fox-:):. (I wasted so much time on this game :lol-fox:)

Whilst browsing Youtube, I found a video of somebody playing an old Spongebob game.

I remember we used to have a few different Spongebob games which my siblings and I would always play on ours Father's old Laptop if we went away.

Old Disney movies and classics like the Fox and the Hound, Lady and the Tramp, Atlantis, and Robin hood really lift me up and remind me of better times when my family was still so bonded together. Also older TV shows from Cartoon Network that my family used to watch together takes the same effect as watching older movies.

I get really excited about playing PS2 games from mine and my brother’s extensive collection since it reminds me of when we used to play together all the time. I can still be overjoyed to play games like Ratchet and Clank or the really old games that I’ve had for longer than I can remember.

I'm nostalgic of the time my little girl ran into my arms saying "I love you Mummy!" for the very first time. :)

Old toys I used to play with. Like this castle, which was the coolest fucking thing ever. :D

I also really like watching Let's Plays of games I played as a kid. Looking back on it, most of the games I played as a young kid were crappy tie-ins from children's films released around the time.
That doesn't remove their nostalgic value for me, though.

Walking past significant locations in my life. Such as the grounds/facilities of my old Swimming, Judo and Rugby club. I was really competitive and did a lot of sport as a kid. It brings past some old good memories of my achievements and accomplishments made as a kid and young teen. I sometimes miss being that active.

It's a really old toy. I think it was gifted to me when I was in toddler or in preschool, way back in the Late-90s. So I'm pretty sure Fisher Price have ceased it's ceased production. But I think you can still find it on somwhere like Ebay or something, most likely at an elevated price. You might be best to look for a modern toy or model castle or something for your daughter. x)

Thank you Gage! :)
This Sunday I'm going to be looking at the Mammoth Boot Fair. There's always some good toy bargain there.

I remember those lovely old fashioned mechanical pencil sharpeners that schools used to have before Health & Safety regs had their metal cases removed off the wall as a "danger hazard". I loved the grungy noise they made when turning the handle to sharpen my pencils, and also I remember sometimes being in a queue with other girls and thinking, "bring on the boys from next class, lets have a party here!". Fat chance.

Watching episodes of Recess on YouTube. I loved the show so much as kid and I'd spent countless hours watching on the Disney Channel when it was worth watching. It's such a creative show with a neat cast of characters, and it gives me memories of my own adventures on the playground. It's just a shame that video quality kind of whomps.

Those hollow chocolate balls that had small candies inside of them. Haven't seen one for sale in years, but I used to love them.

Also this damn thing that my cousins and I always played with.

Owl City's music and the smell when you walk into a house at the beach.

Aah, those were good times.  If I have kids, I'm gonna give them that same nostalgia.
Still confused? Then perhaps this will enlighten you!

Listening to music that reminds me of another place or time, and watching old disney movies on VHS it's not so much watching the movie since I have many of them on bluray now and watch them all the time but its watching the old commercials and special features that I remember for when I was little that makes me nostalgic

Wonder Balls?

I forgot where you're from, but they're illegal in the US because of choking hazards -eyeroll-
