My reaction time has been increased to LUDICROUS SPEEDS from Quake III and Quake Live

The half life series make me a better problem solver

MTG/Yugioh also taught me how to make the best with the stuff you're given, and some strategic skills and whatnot.

And dwarf fortress taught me to have /FUN/ while losing!~ bloody chinchillas...

Games have improved my reaction time to stimuli and have also made me think mathematically over basic things such as kicking a ball.

Tonnes of 30s, 40s, 50s and 80s music. Listening to the radio in games such as Fallout and Grand Theft Auto has really widened my musical tastes.
There's a lot of old music I don't think I would have otherwise been exposed to.

-How to jimmy open a door/whatever else (Fallout and Skyrim)

There's probably more, but I can't think right now so yeah.

Oh yes, I remember now, though it isn't much of a skill or anything, but I got a taste for older music by playing Fallout and listening to the radio.
And I learned about polytheism though Skyrim and the mention of the gods/goddesses of the realm. Also helped me with the idea of monotheism as well, since at the time I couldn't tell the difference between the two.

i learned from dragon age origins and skyrim that almost nothing is what it seems and that you should examine things before you make your mind up about them.

James 5:13-14 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

When I was realllllly young and I played toontown with my sister (She was like 12 or 13, she's 18 now), you would have use the arrow keys to move. A few years later (like 2010) I started playing minecraft and I realized using arrow keys is retarded. I don't understand how some people play with it.

I'm proud to admit I've learned how to identify practically every Pokémon by cry alone.

A bunch of of useless factoids about the ocean and water because of that standup Slateport Oceanic Museum in RSE.

Also Pokémon introduced me to the idea of "breeding" long before my mind was prepared. Luckily I was young and innocent but because of Pokémon, I avoided "the talk".

I learned in Final Fantasy that using a crystal that is already filled with energy can take a person's energy despite being unnecessary and make people become physically unable to speak and somehow develop psychic powers by using them.

Also that series taught me automatons existed in the 1500's as well as flying boats but all evidence of their existence vanished. Also apparently we can breathe on the moon without a suit

So I'm proud to admit I learned a lot!

Martial arts is a way of expressing one's elegance combined with strength, agility and speed. Medicine is a way of showing compassion for others. Music is an expression of feeling. This is what describes me.

When we think we are helping others, far too often we are harming them by helping.

I think the main lesson I learned from video games is to have fun in anything I do. I'm doing it, so why aren't I enjoying it?

Also, explore places. The Zelda franchise was a huge impact on my life, and that game taught me to be brave, so explore.
Still confused? Then perhaps this will enlighten you!

Middledistancerunner. I managed to save just a little bit of money. You and I can both get jobs, and we'll finally see what it means to be living.
