I know a lot more stuff (Good and Bad) that I probably would have never found out without finding it through the fandom.

Being in the fandom helped me get to know some really cool people. And the people in it actually helped me be more comfortable with who I am in a few ways.

I'd say the fandom has made me more comfortable with myself. It's also a creative outlet for me. I write more stuff now than I did before I was in the fandom. Yes, usually furry stuff haha.

It's also made me some good friends, and meet some incredible people.

The fandom has helped me become more confident with myself. Through he fandom/my fursona I've come to accept the fact that I don't need to act or look a certain way and I can have my own "cutesy" style and that's ok!

This is basically the only kind of social interaction I have. Not by choice - I'm just too weird and find it hard to relate to and connect to people because of it, so the fandom offers a nice place away from that.

The furry community has given me the opportunity to express myself in ways I wouldn't have tried otherwise. I've met some wonderful people and had countless good experiences. Overall, there's much more positive than negative.

It helped me get over a lot of my social anxiety
I used to be scared to even interact with people online
But having an animal persona to represent me online just gives me more confidence.

Yes, definitely! I've definitely become more outgoing both IRL and online. I also now found a passion for mascoting, which I probably wouldn't have considered participating in before becoming part of the furry fandom.
