Title says it all but why is there some sort of music plugin on some threads? I swear this has never happened before I became inactive for a bit... Plz help

It has always been there, it's the insert flash button being used.
Of course, flash is now obsolete and is dangerous to have active nowadays because of how exploitable it is (same goes for Java). Malicious actions can be executed through the Adobe Flash plugin, such as playing unwanted music in this case. Usually it's something far worse though.
If you know you don't need to have it installed, uninstall Adobe Flash. Otherwise (or if you're using Google Chrome), go into your settings and change plugins to click-to-play instead of always load. This helps protect you online and to only load what you wish to be loaded.
This article gives you a how-to in case you're not sure what to do.

I'm doing it to spread awareness of the above issue. I've used it in the past to show some flash videos, but apart from that the feature is pretty much never used.

Just a note for everyone to please not insert any music into their posts. It is spammy and can cause issues on people browsers. The staff were unaware of this issue and are discussing solutions

Also in the future if you find a bug/flaw in the software please post a topic in this board or pm an admin instead of exploiting the problem. It much easier to solve issues that way
