It's so cute! <3 the expression is adorable and I love how it's sucking on a pacifier, very well done :fox-:): your lines are definitely getting better, they're much smoother in this piece. Great job!

Actually what I meant by more pixels is more pixels in the dimensions. Instead of 500x500, 700x700 is what you want for the clearest and best pictures.

You actually used plenty here, fine for this picture. What I do have to say is:
What kind of brush are you using for the lineart? It looks like the opacity for that particular brush isnt all the way up to 100% which is why there are some darker gray parts and not. Turn up that opacity!

You improved a lot on your line control; that's huge. I still see a little bit of those broken ones, but it's far less in abundance. Definitely a lot of good things! Good form, good icon. Keep it up!
Still confused? Then perhaps this will enlighten you!

Middledistancerunner. I managed to save just a little bit of money. You and I can both get jobs, and we'll finally see what it means to be living.

Thanks so much Mystic! Yeah, I based the expression off Timmy from Shaun the Sheep.
I'm so glad you like how it came out, including the lines!

Oh I see. So you mean the dimensions when I first set up the document?
And thank you so much. Yeah, I turned the opacity down assuming that's what you meant when you were referring to pixels.
Thanks so much for complimenting my progress. I'm super glad to hear you think I'm getting somewhere.

Thank you so much for all of the great critique you give! It means a lot. :D

mfw I never get to draw anymore. Ugh, I really haven't had time to upload anything with the stress I've been through finishing off these assignments as of late.
I promise I'm gonna draw constantly over the Summer! I'll also offer requests here and on FA if anybody is interested.

But for now, here's an angry sheep doodle!

To be honest, I'm having a hard time seeing the expression. It's noticeable, but I didn't even realize there was an expression until you had said so.
This is due to all the extra sketching lines. It's great that you are using all these sketch lines to define anatomy and everything, but erase them in the final product. Also, using too many lines in the sketch can get a little confusing anyways.

I just suggest erasing the sketch lines like the previous picture for clarity's sake. I know this is a doodle, but doodle is more like a freedraw (that's why I can't stand when people call finished pictures doodles, by the way :fox-;):).

Besides the fact, so far, looks pretty good! For your next drawing, draw a sheep's head from forward view and profile view. Even if you don't think they look good, I'm always on here offering advice.
Keep up the good art!

Whoops, sorry I missed your response. >.>

I see your points. I'll try to eliminate the sketching lines next time in the final product, and erase some of them in future drawings so I don't make too many.
And sure. I'll try to draw some forward-facing animals. I draw them sometimes but I don't know if the perspective is that good.

Thanks so much again for all of the amazing critique! I can't thank you enough for taking the time.
It's been helping immeasurably. :D

^ Thank you so much! That means a lot.
I should draw deer more. Although honestly, I think sheep are actually much more fun to draw. Don't tell everybody I said that! x)

Is this looking alright so far?

I've also been sketching these out so far.

I think there's a tonne of errors in the scaling and perspective of these pictures. Plus my line-art has gotten worse.
I might continue working of these if I think they're salvageable.

Next time, I'm gonna try separating my sketching into a different layer again and drawing over that. Hopefully it'll work out better.

Those booth look good! You're lineart definitely seems smoother in the first :fox-:): the sheep is super cute, that's not an easy pose and you did a great job! The bird is really cute too but very sketchy, I think putting your lineart on another layer like you said would definitely help with that though. Can't wait to see more :fox-:):

On the contrary, I think the line art has gotten better here. Actually, the sheep looks really good from the front.  The head at least. If you want a direct front view, the back isn't going to be visible depending on the perspective, if that's what is desired. But here, it looks fine actually.  It you wanted a more flat, frontal view, you could either erase the whole back part of the body there, or drag it down and make the back flat.

Onto the face - Honestly, the face is just fine. The only suggestion I have is to make the cheeks slightly, slightly, fatter. Note, this is only a suggestion. It looks fine the way it is, but the way I draw things, I do this more fluffy look.

Overall, the lines are a little. . . sketchy. While it looks like lineart, at the same time, it doesn't. Line art needs to be clean, smooth, like a latex strip. I don't know what kind of brush you are using, but use a simple flat, black brush. Nothing fancy. You want consistency for line art.

Really good here! I like the bird but there are too many sketch lines for me to say much about it.

Next time, do a shaded drawing. Remember, I'm always on here. Whatever art you throw at me is worthy of improvement.  In fact, I prefer the bad art before the good art. Looking over the bad stuff and correcting those mistakes will only make your good art even better! So keep at it!
Still confused? Then perhaps this will enlighten you!

^ Thanks for all of the tips and compliments. Especially in relation to lineart. :D
I've been trying to improve it by separating my sketches into a different layer and experiment with brush settings.

I'll be sure to do a shaded picture next time. Thanks for the recommendation!

For now I've been working on creating a new OC. It's a calf!
I'm currently trying to develop this character and I'm thinking of turning this into a reference sheet. c:

Also, if anybody has any other requests or wants me to draw their characters, by all means feel free to ask! It helps me quite a lot.

I'd say good luck with the legs, because those always throw me off on hoofed characters, but seems like you have good knowledge of those  :fox-;):

^ Thanks so much for the compliments, guys. That really means a lot.
I'm super glad that you think my lineart has improved and that a calf OC would be cool.

Speaking of which, I just finished the reference sheet. It took me a while but I'm sort of glad with how it turned out.
There's still clear room for improve with line-art and the style. I might actually try to add more to it later if necessary.
