The great gatsby novel

I had to read this for English class, and analyze it. And…I kinda liked it.

I love how it portrays the rich of the time and how it parallels that to today. Gatsby was an interesting character, as was Nick because they're both tragic people in a world of selfish people. The story was interesting, but also hard to follow. The characters are pretty interesting, but also really huge jerks. And I think that's what makes it a good novel.

Overall, it's a book I probably wouldn't read again, but it was still interesting enough to read on. I'd give it a 5.5/10.
I consider myself a lone wolf, but I don't mind a friend or two to talk with. I also happen to be a writer.

I also read it for English class and yeah hardly anyone in the novel was likeable however the main characters are indeed interesting people.

I usually never re-read books on my own free will so I cannot use that as a review statement however I would give it an 8/10.

I normally do not enjoy books where everyone is a jerk but some can pull it off.
