Chelsea Grin's latest single
« on: May 14, 2014, 06:53:46 pm »
As many of you metal furs know, Chelsea Grin is releasing an album here soon. They just released their song 'Angels Shall Sin, Demons Shall Pray.' I will have to say, it's not that bad.

It's good, but not what Chelsea Grin used to be known for. (In case you don't understand, Listen to any song from My Damnation. Oblivion is a good song.)

I can't offer much to detail as this is only one song so I will try to make this as long as I can.

The most memorable part of this song is probably the breakdown. This isn't due to the fact that I like breakdowns, (Which I do,) but the fact that the song seems bland and slow. It is very repetitive, and it's almost just three minutes of similar riff-age throughout the song.
Now, I can't seem to stress this enough. I still like the song! It just isn't their best, and I feel like they could do better.

All in all, I am anticipating for this album and think both singles are not bad. Although Angels Shall Sin... isn't all that great either.
