Make Them Suffer - "Let Me In" Single Review
« on: May 15, 2014, 04:14:50 am »
Here we go with another single review. This one is going over Make Them Suffer's latest song, "Let Me In."

Let me start by staying this was a very intense song. Not for the heaviness in Make Them Suffer, (Which I will explain this in a second,) but for how emotional it was and how the lyrics were delivered. This song definitely was an emotion power house and was well worth the listen.

Now here is where we get the Butthurt MTS fans, because they don't use their deathcore/death metal sound on this track. There are definite metalcore influences which some fans can't seem to enjoy, however I think this is an amazing step for the bands journey.. Well as a band. They also did mention that this song would be one of the lighter ones on their facebook page, so we know where the albums direction will be going.

Aside from the metalcore influence, you can obviously hear the 'Make Them Suffer' sound they have in virtually every song. The piano is played similarly to most of their songs, and in the breakdown you can hear the heaviness the song lacks.

All in all, it's a great song from a great band. I sure as hell can't wait for this album.
