Even though I got a PS4 I'd agree. Kinda regret getting it now. And if was to get a gaming laptop/ computer I'm pretty sure my parents would have me killed since I need to be saving money.

Money... I like money. I have quite a bit of money compared to my brother. But unlike my brother, I have nothing to spend it on.

I just like money.

Sorry, but the PS2 is the best selling home console, along with having 10000+ games and the nostalgia factor still make it popular. Much more than the 360 I'd dare say

Is this a question? Because PC>Everything else.

But portable wise I'd say PSP.  :fox-:P:

Sorry m8, but here is where the 3DS wins without a question, because it has all of the DS stuff along with all of the 3DS stuff

I have a PS2 but hardly ever use it anymore. Great consul though, I don't remember ever having any issues with it and there were plenty of great games for it (although since at the time I wasn't a big gamer I've missed out on quite a few of those). But I've done the most gaming on my PS3, and it's also been great, so it would be my personal favorite. And I'm starting to game more on my PC, so I wouldn't at all be surprised if I upgrade my PC and stick with that instead of getting a PS4.

So for me personally, PS3>PS2>PC

PC last only because I have like two games I play on it :lol-fox:

I prefer the Xbox to the PS though. It subset my personal game and gaming style, the Xbox has more to offer me. Laptops beat computers in my opinion though, simply because of portability. Sorry, desktops, not computers. For me, a laptop>Xbox>=anything else

Why is the xbox losing so badly? Personally, I think it's the beat console ever made, baring in mind that the 7th gen consoles still need to prove themselves, and aren't even all released yet, with rumours of the Nintendo Fusion flying around, and Nintendo have always said the wiiu wasn't their biggest console.

But, on the 360, let's look at its performances.
Best specs? Well no, not quite. The ps3 has better specs, but the 360 has smoother all around performance. They were, however, outsold by the Wii which took this generation by storm with incredible marketing that Xbox and PlayStation failed to cash in on properly. The 360 also has the largest catalogue of games, and more beat selling titles than its competitors. While lacking the universal compatability of the Wii, requiring specific Microsoft hardware (such as memory cards, hard drives and headsets) what it provides is reliable. And the controllers are amazing- I've been playing videogames since the 3rd generation, the Sega Master System, and have had experiences with every majour console released since 1990 save the xbox one and PlayStation 4. The xbox controllers are amazing, you forget you're holding them, they fit perfectly in your hands- unlike Sony who refuse to update the shape from 1994 and Nintendo who just make it up.

Oddly though, my top games aren't on xbox. Nintendo games are just more fun, it's that simple. No frustrating, angry, raging games. Just simple, mindless fun. Super Smash Bros blows me away, I still love playing it, and still haven't got all the trophies yet. And pokemon is like crack, it hasn't changed much since I bought Pokemon Red on release day, but just like crack, I don't care if it's not changed, I just want my fix. And now in 3d. Amazing.

I, however, stand alone in my opinion on this, many experienced gamers rate the Dreamiest or NES as the greatest consoles ever made, Gameboys, DS, Gamecube and origional xbox coming before any current gen consoles,  and right now certainly before any 7th generation consoles. But for me, the 360 will be one of the greatest (and longest lived) consoles, right up until Rockstar turn of the 360 Live servers.

I'd say PS2 and Xbox 360 are better than others because of the range of games they have (Especially the PS2). Also because they are (What I would call) are the conventional games console; A console and an analog controller, played through your TV.

I feel the new generation consoles were such a let down, too expensive. Thus created a divide between people with the old consoles and the ones with the new consoles.

I don't really get all the fuss about game consoles. In my opinion, it works like this: If it isn't a PC or designed for a PC, it's not good.

I have used and still use all three. For me the PS3 and 360 are barely different at all. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses and not many of them outdo the other.

Even my PC has some faults that the consoles don't have such as certain games having pain in the ass DRM bullshit that you don't worry about on consoles.

Gameplay-wise my Xbox and PS3 are near identical other than a different controller.

Even the PS2 I have has it's own appeal compared to the PS3.

I like the PC's range, and would use it more, but on gaming terms they are pretty equal to me, the PC and the Xbox. The PC has tons more games and ideas, but the Xbox has an actual controller, and some of my favorite video games, as well as an easy system of friends and in game voice chat, and there are even games to excercise or dance.

A lot of PC gamers still use a wired xbox controller to play on PC. I have one myself and though that means it relies on the game to support it or you have to download a third-party program to keybind controller buttons and the analog sticks.

Sounds overly complex for a controller to me

With a wired one and a compatible game usually its easy as plug it in the usb slot an play.

Anyway let's not get off topic.
