« on: November 16, 2014, 04:46:49 pm »
im a 17 year old guy and I like crying, i am not afraid to admit that, i like crying, I like how it feels and i like when i do it, if I cry it means im handeling it well, so when i tell people that it leaves them confuse and laughing, not that I mind, remember that Everybody Loves Raymond episode where Ray say Debra cry when she was alone and she said she felt it was a relief and actually liked it, that's how I fell about it, does anybody else u derstand that (might I remind you im a guy who willfully cries in Oklahoma...)

Well, it's not that I don't like crying, but rather the feeling that leads to crying, but I always feel a lot better after I cry. To me, crying is a way of letting everything out, so I find no shame in doing it. Actually, when I'm reaaaally stressed I think that crying might help me feel a lot better.

Crying, the one way that can make life better. If you don't cry you'll just bottle it up and eventually when it's too much you'll release it, as an explosion of tears. Don't do that, I did when I was getting bullied throughout years 7-9 in secondary school (I still do get bullied though, just because I'm bisexual and a furry) and I let it out in a lesson which stopped my anxiety and serious depression at the time. It's fine to cry, it's natural and nothing to be ashamed of. Don't bottle it up! Let it out!

I cry all the time when upset (although that doesn't happen as often now) and I feel so much better when I have let the emotions run free! But I don't like doing it when there is a class of immature 14/15 year olds, they do tend to pick on the weakest link!

Crying is very healthy. I can't find sources right now, but from what I've collected from daily life and the internet, (which, mind you, isn't always reliable, but whatever.) I'm pretty sure crying is much better than keeping it all in. It's a healthy way of dealing with strong feelings of sadness and grief, and it will make you feel better afterwards.

That being said, however, I spent many years of my adolescence and childhood unenlightened to this fact, and was instead influenced by the media and my peers to think that boys aren't allowed to cry. It's and ideal based off of masculinity and the glorification of emotional callousness in men. I ate it all up. Whenever something made me sad, I would keep it all it, not let a single tear escape my eyes. I didn't want to seem weak.

Unfortunately, this habit has stuck with me until today. I've learned, however, instead of aggressively holding my tears back, to let everything go and just let my heart sink and internalize everything. It's a hollow feeling, but it's much better than choking back wails and tears. I haven't cried from sadness/anger in... A year, maybe?

I've felt like really crying just this past Summer, when I was doing heavy internalizing of my own feelings of loneliness. I had planned to go to the park after work and let it all out, but I never got to it and went home... The feelings passed by the time I woke up in the morning.

So, overall, I think I would like to cry, if I felt the need to.

(P.S. Lol sorry for getting really robot-like idk I have a tough time showing emotion through text when I get on a roll)

Hmm, I feel as if something is wrong with me. I haven't cried in the last 1... 2.... oh I don't even now how long. I never feel the erg to cry. Whenever something bad happens I try and separate myself from the situation and keep emotions out of it. Now I'm so used to doing it I don't even think about it.

Not that I'm saying its bad to cry. Sometimes I wish I could just let my emotions out and stop doing the routine of "oh well nothing I can do now, might as well let it fester in the back of my head." Maybe one of these days I can let it go (unintentional frozen reference) and let all the things that bother me come out so they cant hold me back anymore (intentional frozen reference).

So to answer your question, I have no idea.  :lion:

I never cry even when i try to force myself to cry well i can cry but it hardly ever happens but it would be nice to cry once every couple of days to let it all out because everything of mine turns into rage and i end up having to leave avter a couple of days of bottleing up and then taking it out outside in the forest behind my house

I hate crying and have a hard time dealing with sadness and hurt, recently a very close online friend turned on me and did and said many hurtful things, she has hurt me a lot and caused a lot of tears and I really hate it. Crying is definitely a great way to let things out but I still don't enjoy it since it means that I am hurting

I am a very emotional kind of guy but I haven't cried in I don't know how long, not to say that bad things haven't happened(I mean my great grandma who I was very close with died), I just don't. I get the urge to, I don't try to put it down even I just end up not, at most getting one tear that dries up right away. I think it may have to do with me being able to cry on command(I was bored), and it just gave me to much control over it, even if that control is unintentional.

Ps. I am told I have a killer puppy dog face.

Crying is a healthy emotion to let fly. Lately I have been hurting physically and emotionally and been crying like a baby. Crying isn't for sissys you know. I even saw a fireman crying as he carried out a child from a burning house. The child was alive; the fireman stood as big as a barn door, a great big softy who took my heart and everyone's. Go ahead, let it all out. :)

I certainly enjoy the feeling of after crying.  It makes me feel better and fresh, like I had forgotten everything prior.  I don't resist the urge to cry (except when in school, becuase everyone in middle school is an asshole except a special few), and I feel like it is emotionally healthy to all of us.

I can't really cry much anymore, though I hurt a whole lot. I'm actually kind of emotionally numb, you can get in my face, tell me anything, kill my family, And I'll just laugh. my new job, now that involves making people cry... But everytime they do, I think of her. I think about how I never said goodbye, how I'll never see her again. Its painful, but I can't cry anymore. I don't want to. Why should I?

I don't cry very often, (in fact its been three years since I really, actually cried) but I think I kind of like the feeling. I'm not sure why. Like, obviously I don't like the things that make my cry, but crying feels good.

Crying really helps me get over what I'm feeling at the moment, making it feel as if I'm crying out the bad feelings, so it feels good in that respect, but I don't like the feeling on tears on my face or how I get sniffly and gross.

Occasionally. But pride usually gets in the way xP
Plus I tend to get tension headaches if I let myself get stressed too much. But crying can definitely be a relief.

I really love the feeling of crying. I love tears on my face. But I can't cry publicly; it just doesn't come It's probably pride that gets in the way.

crying feels good. It helps feel better and get emotions out...

But I rarely am able to actually cry unless it's really intense and matters a lot to me...
