Creating my characters has helped me appreciate different kinds of art, helped me admire all of the beauty that the natural world has to offer, and helped me express my need to rekindle elements from my childhood. There's not much more I can say.

My sona has helped me expand my art.
Reptiles are hard. They still are, but I've managed to improve trying so hard to draw her, which makes me enjoy drawing other difficult animals now that would have been impossible without her practice.
If that makes sense.

Ellie, Elise, and Cosmos all helped me become who I want to be. A firecracker at times, or a babbling brook when words aren't needed, to a cold yet wearm hearted person. Day dreaming about them and their stories helped me eliminate stress from school, which was graciously needed.

Cefirul: Guys, how did we help him again?
Filarie: I dunno. By being so awesome that some of our awesomeness transfers to him
Celisse: By reminding him that he should NOT have an ermine in his head
Jogete: We're actually helping him?
Lucida: By um, doing... telling him... STUFF! *big grin*
Elliot: I help him by sharing my thoughts and ideas wi-
Sinclair: I WANT MORE PEANUTS! WHERE ARE MY PEANUTS
Renegar: By not being loud and obnoxious I suppose, and someone has to clean up the mess of knowledge in here
Lufo: I assist by sharing memories of the land in which I came from, by sharing wisdom that has came about through decades of study
Servada: You actually STUDY!? Tell me, have you read the Lord Of The Rings? Eragon?
Zoey: By helping him be awesome *shrugs*

If you're asking whether or not it is normal, it's not, obviously.

Anyway, my sona has been the butt of my d4|\|k |\/|3|\/|35 and overall helped me transcend to Coldsteel edgyness.

Good question. I may as well ask my sona.
Hey Dam? You there?
Good Evening sir, what can I do you for?
Day to day what do you help me with?
Why a question of this calibur will be answerable in seconds. I help you cope with yourself. You dress me differently and you feel it affect you, I am like a persoal mirror of you. Besides that I guess I influence you quietly like a voice in the wind... Other than that I stop  you from being depressed.
Thanks, good night.
Have a good night. Oh yes and, do remember the two tests tomorrow.
*groans*
Thats how I would imagine him to be, if we were seperate. But honestly I think he helps me cope with myself.

Nope, I don't see my sonas especially Lee separate from myself. I am her, she is me. She's the only sona I have made that I can comfortable identify as in the fandom.
So that would kinda maker her impossible for me to project into rl. I don't think its normal obviously, but that doesn't mean its bad^^

Also I'd like to add Lee also helps me with feeling more comfortable with myself and motivates me to get fit and lose weight. Losing weight is something I've been trying a while but creating a fit sona definitely helps motivate me better for some reason XP

umm, is it normal to see your sona everyday?

No. Are you feeling okay?

You guys don't interact with your sonas?

No.

To us, they're characters and re-expressions of ourselves or something we wish we could be. That's normal for the vast majority of furs. Che'ro and Sar'ras and Cre'na - ego, superego, and id (not quite, but that's one aspect of how they're split up) - are just pieces of myself concentrated and re-expressed.

... Not sure how to say this without running the risk of upsetting you... So... There is a category of problems I've spent years dealing deeply and personally with if you need help at the very least getting pointed in the right direction. (This is actually a reaction to your posts in a few threads.)

I feel completely fine. I may have worded that badly.
I can see him when I want, but not all the time.
I get a shiver down my spine when he can be seen.
He isn't a full apparition. I can only see a VERY subtle outline of him. I seem to only see him in my dreams for the past week. But I think I would know if I had that.
However I do come from a paranormal like family. Mom grew up in a real haunted house. Multiple witnesses, plus that was before I was born.
I have been diagnosed with:
ADHD
Asperger syndrome
And OCD

But that is it. Nothing else.
He is the only entity that people can't see.
Everything else seems completely normal

While the concept of being able to actually see your sona is bizarre to me, I actually kind of envy the ability to do that. It would do great things during lonely times even if it isn't exactly "real".
I am pretty sure it is not related to Asperger's or ADHD (they tend to go hand in hand anyway) considering Gage and I also have it along with several other people and friends I know.

I have felt emotional connection in my mind to my sona, as if they were actually part of my mind. However over the years that connection has faded and now my sona is no longer a direct reflection of me in a furry form.

I have never really been superstitious though.

I try to meditate. I probably am doing it wrong... But I normally see very clear visions of him when I do.

Here's what I do
First I get comfortable
I try to close my eyes and clear my mind as well as possible.
Sometimes I focus on my breathing.
While doing this, I count from 100 down to around thirty
Once I get around thirty or so, I try to clear my mind of counting.
If things go well that night, I can see him.
Normaly there is a black background.
I don't try to look for him while I meditate. And I go to bed shortly after.
Oh, and one more thing, I made a short song for him, and I try to play it at least once every time I play piano. (Which I do often)

Nahh, this makes sense !! At least to me. I started drawing wolves like everyone else, but finally finding my fursona allowed me to become really good decent at non-muzzled species. And honestly, I don't think I would have tried otherwise, cuz avians are intimidating to draw @-@
But it also helped me learn to study anatomy, another thing I probably wouldn't do otherwise. Every time I see a picture or even a cartoon of a billed creature, I study how the face works and how the bill appears 3D. I try to do that for all animals of course, but obviously the platypus is the winner  :fox-;):
