Paranoid at times, maybe. I've been told I'm bad luck so I guess you could say I am. I had a locket for a long time and every time someone seemed to open it they would have bad luck.
I'm also superstitious about the cosmos too, the moon phases especially.

It really all depends on your definition of superstition. I don't believe in luck, its all numbers and probability. But I do have items that tend to be interacting with how much "luck" I have. Do I have an explanation for these said items? No, but I'm not superstitious.

Me too. I have items that I keep with me for 'luck', but I wouldn't call myself superstitious because I have them for more the comforting feeling rather than actually believing they bring good luck.

I don't really know. I guess that since I always try to find a logical explanation for the things that happen I'm not really that superstitious, but then again, I find it fun to think that I have good luck every now and then, like, when I find coins on the ground or when I avoid getting hit by stuff being thrown in my classroom without even trying to.

I've been raised off superstition and even today while I do my best to put faith in logic there are many things I am still superstitious about. Although I believe less in luck and more in omens. If a pennies upside down I leave it on the ground. Why? because historically I've noticed bad things happen if I do. Could this just be some placebo effect where because I genuinely something bad could happen and thereby something bad does happen (And perhaps it would have regardless but I only know am paying mind to it and perhaps crediting my 'bad omen' for it). Even if it's hardly scientifically justifiable the intense fear and paranoia of something bad happening is virtually insurmountable. This fear stems from a day in my middle school years when my mom got into a nasty car crash. You see I had gotten into the tendency of telling my mom the simple phrase, "Drive safe!" each day she dropped me off and on this particular day of the crash I broke tradition look what came of it. I have philosphy that if pain and less desirable emotions can be avoided easily then there is no excuse for doing so. If not being thrown into a scenario I regret is as simple as saying "No" to someone for instance then there is little reason why I shouldn't simply say "No". And so with the fear that there is some truth behind superstition present it becomes evident that some small changes be made to my daily routine if only to avoid feeling guilty that something I did was the cause of some great irreversible tragedy. So what if I'm not one penny richer, material wealth means little to me in the end anyway. If I have to take a few extra moments from my day to tell my mom to "Drive Safe!" then who cares, the other cars can wait :fox-:P:.

Paranoid, yes.
Superstitious, no.

I usually place more fate in the uncommon superstitions then with the more common like dont open the umbrella inside. im very big into the science world but ive found that science cant explain everything that happens in the world. One thats a tradition in thailand is that, never tell a parents that their baby is cute, i know it sounds rude but they will thank you for it. Instead tell them that their baby is ugly so that evil spirits are no lionger intrested an dont steal the child. one more, argentina's president in 2001 carlos menem left the country in a financial crisis saying his last name is considered unlucky.

Oh I am. I believe in good luck, bad luck, ghosts/supernatural things the whole package. Do I let it have an effect on my life? Nah.

I'm not superstitous but rather a person that uses maths and science to counter anything someone who is superstitious might say. At school I would always make up some random fake story to scare the superstitous people and it's fun, they were terrified of them  :lol-fox:

Yes. There's no massive reason to why, I'm just open minded. I think it's important to try and understand strange and outlandish ideas even if there's not much proof rather then shouting FAKE just because its different from the norm.

A lit bit, only on some very minor things. Like believing 4 leaf clovers are good luck and stuff like that. When I was younger I used to really be superstitious and "cast spells" as if they ever worked.  :fox-:P:
