@Krowdon
Yes yes YES I love RedWall! I also discovered it in 4th grade, but it was the end of the year so I was only able to read three. In 5th grade though ohoh that's when it started. I began to read through the whole series, when I finished all the ones at school my great librarian got me more from the town library. She was my favorite librarian :^)
I agree with the vivid descriptions it was absolutely majestic, and the feasts they had ah. I always loved how the characters seemed to have accents specially the hares, and their continuous use of the word perilious. The different books had their own elements.... but they all seemed to come together in the end. I loved the characters remarkable, honest, courageous, unforgettable. Even now as a teenager I long to read this amazing book series again. I'm planning on buying the whole series one day as a thing to reread again, and again....
Thank you for reminding me about this great book series again, and all the remarkable memories I had with it.

Ahh yes!!! See, everyone I know who likes Redwall generally has the same opinions about it as we do. They're really remarkable books, and I'm sad more people don't know about them.

I actually own all the novels, many in softcover, but I'm working on getting them all in hardback. I've got all but 4 in hardback now!! For the novels at least.

I ordered one from the official site a few months ago, and when I opened it to get the bookmark out, I discovered that they had sent me an autographed book!!

I actually cried. Hard enough my sister had to come check on me. I hadn't been expecting an autographed book, especially since Brian Jaques passed away four years ago. I never got to meet him, but his works mean so much to me and have had so much influence on me.

If you're interested, we could do a Redwall RP?

I would love for a RedWall role play!
You know what? Tomorrow I'm going to go to the school library and reread the books again!

Might I suggest the Wereworld series. It is very interesting, though quite a challenge. Here is a summery that I copy/pasted from Amazon:

"Imagine a world ruled by Werelords--men and women who can shift at will into bears, lions, and serpents. When Drew suddenly discovers he's not only a werewolf but the long-lost heir to the murdered Wolf King's throne, he must use his wits and new found powers to survive in a land suddenly full of enemies. Drew's the only one who can unite the kingdom in a massive uprising against its tyrant ruler, Leopold the Lion. But the king is hot on Drew's tail and won't rest until he's got the rebel wolf's head."

As far as I know there are 6 books in the series (I recently finished the third) If you at all interested in Were beasts then I highly recommend this book. Plus this has definitely help improve my writing style. I hope this has sparked someone's interest, and have a good day/night (whatever time you are reading this.)  :D :lion:

Warriors and animorphs!
FINALLY ANOTHER PERSON WHO KNOWS ABOUT ANIMORPHS XD

The last time I mentioned Animorphs on here was like 3-4 years ago and those threads are mostly buried so I suppose nobody remembers, but yeah, Animorphs is great. I have books 1-40 or so, but they got kind of hard to find past that, so I didn't end up reading most of the later ones (except for the last two). I'd have to say Warriors and Outernet are tied with Animorphs for my favorite series oriented towards younger audiences (although they're all pretty "deep" as far as YA books go imo).

I would definitely read any of those again if I had the time, but still, now that I've "grown up" a bit, I'd have to say my favorites are Kyell Gold's books that take place in the Forester Universe.

My favorite book series would probably have to be Fablehaven. The Artemis Fowl books were also pretty cool too.

I've always loved the Redwall books (I blame them for making me a furry), they're just timeless. The Wind in the Willows books and the old Winnie the Pooh books definitely are as well.

But right now? Definitely the Song of Ice and Fire series. They're heavy, but dang, that writing is beautiful.

Oh, there are so many to choose from, but if I had to I'd say the 'Trophy Chase Trilogy' is my favorite series.

Tbh I could never really get into Wolves of the Beyond, but that's mostly because it's from the same author of Guardians of Ga'Hoole, which was structured slightly differently story-wise. Idk, just not my thing I guess.
Speaking of which, Ga'Hoole is a series I LOVED. Not the movie, though. The movie sucked.
