Funday Pawpet Show
« on: July 09, 2007, 04:30:50 pm »
I was wondering how many other people had four hours of their life to waste watching the Funday Pawpet Show.  I watch it on and off and If I can I hang out in the IRC channel too.  I really like the show!

I like that show.^^  My stupid television can't pick it up, so I just download the episodes.  It's quite funny.

Honestly, I can't stand the show.  It's a cool idea, but their implementation is horrible.

The main problem is that it's 4 hours long, which is WAY too long for a video show.  Movies aren't even that long!  Four hours is a bit much for syndicated talk radio shows, two hours is too much for amateur talk radio shows, an hour is too much for amateur TV shows.  If the show was an hour long or less, I might enjoy it more, but it seems like the entire thing is just filler.

I've not really watched it, but I agree that it takes a lot to keep hold on my attention span for even an hour!

Well...when I do watch it...I pretty much just chat in the IRC Channel...that is the fun part. Also...one of those hours they play videos so they can have dinner...

I just listen to it, the hand-dolls aren't exactly entertaining anyhow, but it's quite fun sometimes due to the weird quotes I hear from them. Of course, I never expect others to share my humor, the odds are too bad for that.
"Life's journey is not about arriving at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy Shit, what a ride""
"Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means you are two steps ahead"
"Invoke not common sense, for it is not common"
"A life without joy is a wasted one, and you got but one to waste."
"To touch the clouds, you need to reach for the stars"

I know of it but I have yet to watch it on there IRC. I just watch it on youtube where I can get the highlights of the show. Because often I'm called off on Sunday to go mix concrete and dig holes.
I will steal your soul and use it's eternal pain and anguish to light my desk lamp.
