To upload photos you must upload them to a photo hosting site, there is no way to directly inset them from your computer into your post. I personally use http://m.imgur.com but there's other sites such as photobucket that work too

1. Upload your photo
2. Click the "links" drop down menu
3. Select the BBCode option
4. Copy the link
5. Paste the link into your FT post

In the generic sense, if you have an image you want to post, you need the source address. Place that between a pair of tags such that:

[img]http://path.to/my/image.png[/img]

Imgur helpfully generates this tag for you. To quote my new favorite technical aside, "if all this sounds like gibberish to you, just do what Mystic is telling you!"

NB: There's also the [nobbc] tag for when you need to say a BBC tag without it rendering the standard way.
