Do you have an imaginary anything?
« on: October 18, 2015, 10:44:31 pm »
Imaginary friends, toys, fantasies.
Anyone else here insane enough (like me) to have imaginary stuff in your life?

I have imaginary friends because I have no IRL friends, and I have fantasies because nothing significant happens when I expect there to be.

I never had an imaginary friend surprisingly, but have lots of fantasies, head canons, and stuff. It inspires my art :3

Same here. I have entire stories and characters in my head that I made up. The only problem is, I suck at drawing and writing, so they are kind of stuck up there

Personally I see the characters in my story to be some. Mostly due to thinking of their interactions with things and I even give them emotional trauma to deal with.

As for imaginary friends I do have one. His name is "Aho", he's pretty simple actually just a ball of fire with eyes that changes form (turns into a water drop, leaf or a mini tornado). Just a silent motivator for whenever I need to get things done or to distract myself from my thoughts

Imaginary fantasies, so many stories go through my head - the better ones lasting for weeks. :lol-fox:

I also used to have an imaginary friend, he was called Pizza Guy and was basically a stick figure with a pizza for a face.

I imagine how it would be like to live in my D&D setting, but that's more to develop and make it better for my players. I once used to imagine people/animals/characters running and following our car when we went on car journeys, for example spiderman was running on rooftops and swinging and stuff.

I can relate to most of the posts here. I'm pretty shy so I think of stories and characters in my head to occupy my time :l

Yeah I'm a thinker to. Sometimes it's just nice to site alone in a quiet place and image entire world's or scenarios playing out. I usually imagine stuff for my characters and my fursonas, it's relaxing.

I have an imaginary theme park I like to build in my mind. Planning out every immaculate detail helps me go to sleep sometimes.

Daydreaming about random crap is also a great pastime of mine.

I have an imaginary world full of imaginary human characters. I have three main ones who I stongly identify with and find comfort in, though a lot of the more minor ones are important to me too. They're pretty personal so I'm not going to say much more than that, Im happy though I'm not the only one with these imaginary worlds

I have the standard original characters that float around with no story to put them in. They sort of just ... exist there, waiting for something to latch onto. Much of the time, they are things I like to draw on papers while I listen to the lecture. For example, angry mathematics kitty is really just an angry cat that I Rubber Ducky debug to while trying to troubleshoot my maths work.

I spend a lot of time dreaming up Warriors fan clans and the like.

Most notably, I imagine about Lucina because she is one of those characters that inspires me to try my best in the face of opposition. I hope that if she were real, she would be proud of me. I think this helps me get through a lot of difficult things, trying to make her happy. I know that if I think I make her happy, it will make me very happy as well. And if I do not accomplish the thing I wanted, she is a fictional character so there is no real backlash. I think it works very well for me.

I have an imaginary theme park I like to build in my mind. Planning out every immaculate detail helps me go to sleep sometimes.

I used to do things like this with friends in elementary. We would sit on the swings with our eyes closed and "visit" each others' theme parks, being guided through by the owner. I remember surfboarding in a volcano with one of my friends, haha. It was a lot of fun.

I did a lot of that imaginary roleplay with my friends at that age. I was the leader of a Warriors clan, StormClan. My name was Hawkstar, and by deputy was Bluefur. My medicine cat was Brightleaf. We would all run around the play yard as fast as we could. My one friend and I would roleplay as humans turned Pokémon like in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. At the playground, we would always fall out of an imaginary plane and he was either Groudon or Kyogre, and I was Rayquaza. We used to dig in the dirt for pieces of glass and, depending on the colour, we would say it was a scale from whatever Pokémon. When I would sleep over at his house, instead of sleeping we would close our eyes and then pretend we started at the beginning of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon story. He would be charmander, and I would be eevee. I would accidentally evolve at some point, and always was something different. All the night, the cars would drive by and light up our eyelids and every once in a while, his mother would come sternly whisper at us to go to sleep.

Wistful sighing ... it was so much fun.

I imagine fantasies, scenarios, and characters in my head all the time. It's why I have so many fursonas and OCs, it makes things fun but also overwhelming. I have to keep myself limited, but creativity shall never be limited. Keep being creative everyone ^_^

Nope! I have dreams where I'm cuddling a guy every now and then, but in general this dragon likes to just live in the moment and not think/daydream ever.

For me, I actually have these things that I made up, I cant really explain what they are, but they are basically what you guys call "holograms" but they are far more advanced. So in my head I can see them and control them to form weapons and whatnot, sorry.. im weird xD
