Greetings
« on: August 19, 2007, 10:38:19 pm »
Greetings Everyone! My name is Waffie. New Dragon here. I am currently fifteen years old, residing in the sweltering lands of Texas, and I hope I will enjoy this place.
I have been lurking around the fandom for about two years, but this is my first public posting. A tad bit shy, so bear with me. :)

My art consists of stories, poems, and music. My drawing skills, however fail. Need to work on that a bit. I love technology and discussion, and hopefully, I can eventually begin to contribute here. Any questions?

I am indeed the other insane Norwegian wolves here. There used to be a bear as well, dunno where she dissapeared.

Anyhow, welcome, and do you have any music online?

Thanks for the welcome, everyone!

Not really into sports, Koala.

For clarification, I preform with a band. I have yet to try my paw at composing things on the computer, though I would eventually like to try. Anyway, here is the music from our last performance. Use good headphones/speakers. No earbuds, please. They ruin the music.
Entry March of the Boyars
Colonial Song
Redline Tango
If you listen to nothing else, listen to Redline Tango. It was the most challenging piece, and it is my current favorite. The music is quite unique, and I am fairly certain that it is unlike anything you have heard before. Perhaps it will expand your musical horizons a bit. :)

Oh and now for your question: What is the meaning of life? *Pounce* :fox-:P:

Hmm.. toughie! Yay for spontaneous 5-minute poetry. Basically, the meaning of life is what you make of it, I think.

What is life, let us see!
A wisp, a flash, a fool like me?
Perhaps it is sorrow, guilt, endless pain,
your very existence, a failure, a bane.
Perhaps in gladness you seek your fate,
satisfied, fulfilled, with loving mate.
Perhaps instead, a whisper, no more.
Perhaps a journey on which we soar.
Perhaps the light which brightens days.
Perhaps a vengeance which smolders and stays.
All this and more, perhaps none at all.
Life follows your deeds, so stand strong, stand tall.
You alone can follow your bliss.
Get up, fire, you will not miss.

I now want you to have my babies! :laugh-wuf:
Well not really...
But still, welcome to the board and such, have fun, and let that shyness melt away. (We convert liquid shyness into energy to produce forum-cookies. Don't ask me how it works.)
Oh, and things that say "read first", read those first. (duh.)
