They don't matter to me too much. I'm not much of a gamer so when I do play it's usually just for fun. If I'm trying to meet all the goals I'll just get stuck and frustrated and won't want to play anymore but if I don't worry about them I tend to have more fun which is what's important to me ^^

I don't care about achievements.
That being said, I was raised on the milk of NES, SNES and PS1 gaming, where couch multiplayer and narrative focus was what defined how full and open a game was. Achievements just seem like a sad distraction, a way of making a comparatively trash game *Cough* callofshovelware*cough*seem like there's more to it. And don't even get me started on paid multiplayer exclusive achievements, yeeeeah, fuck you Bungie, you dickheads, that's less sad, and more of a scam, you're paying them to let you have the CHANCE to get 100% on a game.
TL;DR I don't really care, they just feel like a cheap way to tack an extra bit of game life onto a game that, without them, would be quite unremarkable.

It depends if the achievements in the game are actually fun to do, and not just requiring you to do some extremely precise time-based, absurd action.

I could care less.

It does feel good to get a achievement you didn't know existed though.

They're pretty neat. Kinda there to show off really.

Too bad CoD mixes Regular, Hardened and Veteran into one for level difficulty achievements. Don't wanna be with reg peasants :fox-:P:

COD peasant kappa.

Tbh I don't really play Xbox but based on what I've seen I really could not care less about achievements.

Actually, there are Achievements you can only get on certain difficulties.

Yeah, I don't really care about getting achievements in games or deliberately aim only to get achievements, although it's kinda nice when I happen to get one and the little notification pops up on the screen.  :fox-:P:
