Since an actual furry convention for this site would be a nightmare, mainly for financial reasons but there are other reasons, I figured, why not make an online furry convention for this site? It would be hosted in Discord, which is a free program that includes text AND VIDEO CHAT! It can also be run in any current browser.

There would be a several rooms, a face-to-face chatroom, a drawing chatroom (you can post stream links here too), and a normal chatroom. If you can think of more chatroom categories, those might work too!

As for special events and contests, we might have to improvise on the exact events, but I'm sure it could be done.

Since chatrooms/chat groups affiliating with FT are disallowed, this may not be possible.

Its a really great idea, but mods would definitely be the problem. The reason we don't have any offical chatroom is because there's no mods who can keep an eye on things all day. We'd have to have actual staff from here run things (not just users), since moderating things in real-time is immensely harder than moderating things here.

The closest I can think of is Sleek hosting some gaming events and maybe someone would be up to hosting a drawing room (that specific idea has been discussed before)? Honestly I like all the ideas, we'll just have to find a way to coordinate it.
