Song Covers
« on: December 26, 2015, 02:35:59 pm »
I know that it's very common in the music industry to cover a song. This is mostly done by amature artists attempting to be known. This helps many artists practice their musical talents with an all ready well-known peice. I've also noticed that even some mainstream artists have began to produce covers of fellow musician's music. I thought of this topic while listening to a very good cover by a lesser known Houston, Texas rock group known as Fenix TX (they stylize their name as Fēnix*TX). It was cover of a song composed earlier in the 1980s by a pop singer known as Billy Ocean. This song was Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car. Naturally, this song was a top contemporary song in its prime day and was obviously a pop song. Fenix TX decided that it would be a great song to be covered as a hard rock song for the album "NASCAR on FOX: Crank it Up". I know this topic is random but what are some of the Furry Teens' society favorite song covers?

Dan Fogelberg's cover of Rhythm of the Rain (by The Cascades) is really good.
