What is your vocal range?
« on: January 19, 2016, 01:51:26 am »
In my opinion, it's more important to be able to sing well on your comfortable notes than to reach extra high/low, but I still find ranges intriguing and I'm curious if anyone else who sings knows theirs.

If you don't know and would like to find your range, a piano works nicely or alternatively, you can use this (just make sure you're in the right octave).

Mine is C3-E5

Well, I know I'm a baritone, but I don't know the exact octaves... I could probably try to figure it out, though! I know that if I really try, I can reach a fairly high F!

I'm probably a bass singer. I sing a lot of times when I'm not out in public. I've listened to myself a few times and it doesn't sound too goof. My voices seems to be deeper than how I hear it when I speak, and I find myself constantly at the same tone, or near it. I've been told by some that I can sing well, but I don't believe that they're honest. It takes a lot of experience and work to sing well, none of which I have. I'd say my voice is not too flexible to range from what I've heard. I know if I attempt high notes, my voice will definately crack. I try to avoid songs with roller coaster notes.

Going by the video you posted, it seems that I can go as low as C3 and as high as E6, though I'm not sure if I did it well :fox-:P: From what people have told me, I have a deep voice, and I think my art teacher back in middle school said that I'm a baritone
