I love the sheer diversity of nature! For example, no two forests are ever the same! And the different biomes and biospheres produced by nature amaze me! I wanna go see all of them!  :lol-fox:

The stars, definitely. I love stargazing and seeing how many constellations I can find, even just admiring the moon and the night sky.

I like the silence, or natural noisiness, of forests. I especially love when it snows and everything is muffled and silent.

moths

I can't pick just one thing. I adore the ferocity of late night rainstorms, the gorgeous array of colors in the autumn woods, and how peacefully simple animal bones, buried beneath leaves, can remain in one piece for ages after death.

The fact that life is EVERYWHERE.

Desert? heck yes. Underwater sea vents with boiling water? you got it. Radiation poisoned land humans can't live in? IT'S TEEMING.

That's also the reason I think alien life is so likely.

I really love nature.

I live in the Wasatch front, more known as the Salt Lake valley, and I've always LOVED the mountains here. It's beautiful and especially in the winter. Infact as winter starts arriving you can see a snowline appear on the mountains and start sneaking down until there's snow on the valley floor.

One thing I liked doing was last weekend. My parents went out of town and I just went and read in my backyard, and enjoyed with my shirt off. Sounds weird but I like the feeling of a gentle breeze on my bare skin so I'll glady wear summer clothes XD

I love nature so much. I wrote a whole essay on nature at my aunt's cabin in Lewiston, MI.

I think fungi's cool, honestly. It sounds odd, but I find it interesting to learn about.
I'm also fascinated by how old buildings and man-made structures can be taken over by nature. In the woods near my house, there are a bunch of old barns, and I love visiting every few months and seeing how the weather and plants are slowly breaking them all down.

Living in the western hemisphere of Alabama cones with that oppurtunity.
