Imagining non-furry friends' fursonas
« on: February 27, 2016, 07:46:09 am »
Do you ever imagine your non-furry friends as having fursonas, or at least being some certain species of animal? I imagine one of my friends as being a definite sand cat, another being a tiger of sorts, and a third being a chickadee. And now that I think about it, I could also imagine this one person I know as being a goat.

Do you guys do the same thing? Do you speculate about the different animals your non-furry friends could be if they had fursonas?

And now that you give me the idea... I imagine one as a golden retriever, and I'm not sure which species are really intelligent, so i viewed them as foxes. Its interesting to think about them in that way

Sometimes, but usually no. Most people I know just don't seem like they could be furries so I don't imagine them as such, but there is this one person I keep thinking of as a weasel.

Sorta except I usually draw people as dogs or cats as it is easier in different patterns, shades/colours and sometimes even clothes. Like they are either a dog or a cat in my eyes (usually a species of dog).

Also play this game, which is pointing out which animal you are most like.

My best friend would be a sheep, and my two other school friends would be a giraffe (she's really tall) and a lynx.

Sometimes I picture my friends as wolves, since they technically aren't furries but they do have wolf characters.

I never imagine my friends as sona,
 I see them as human,
     With empty mind.

But yea, i like to say they are rats, they only hurt me when they're together.
When they separate? I can hurt them easyly

I've pictured friends and even random strangers as animals before I even knew what a furry was. I think of my best friend as a Fox. My brother would be a bear and other friends are wolf, bob cat, and probably others I'm forgetting right now.

Some people talk to animals. Not many listen though. That's the problem.

I saw my hot math teacher at my old school as one of those Zootopia tigers. He looks exactly like one.

I don't see other people as furries at all. If they aren't a furry, I see them as simply who they are. I consider them apart from the furry world. I don't see why you'd imagine them as their own fursona. I don't accept humans as a part of our society because it actually disturbs me. We're furries for a reason. Let them be who they are, but don't include them with us. We honestly shouldn't even visualize someone as an animal species that doesn't recognize with one. They should choose that for themselves. Until they do that, they aren't a part of the furry society.

Sometimes, but it's mostly just "they'd be a tiger" or "they'd be a fox", I usually don't create the actual character. BUT, I do image a "fursona" for my favorite teacher (I'm weird oops). He used to be a coal miner, so I imaging him as a tall, dark blue and white Sergal who's a coal miner.

I kinda do the same thing. I don't usually make a whole "fursona" for someone, I just kinda imagine them being a certain species. Like you said, it's mostly "they'd be a cat" or "they'd be a rabbit." Something along those lines.

I create fursonas for my friends all the time. All. The. Time. I use them when I draw my friends or myself with them.

I picture one as a wolf, one as a cat and the other as a tiger.

Aye. One of my friends, nearly certainly is a wolf. Beta, in a pack situation. Another is a fox, sneaky, and in some cases reclusive. Another is a feline, avoiding all that looks remotely odd, and keeping on his own track.
