Here are some good tips that'll help you with your interview

  • have good posture: sitting up straight will show that you have confidence in yourself, which is something people will always look for
  • make eye contact: making eye contact shows that you aren't shy. (Another thing you can do is stair at the bridge of their nose or in between their eyes)
  • Interviewers like it when you use "sir" or "mam" it shows respect.
  • be confident and humble: talk about your accomplishments if they relate to the topic but make sure you aren't bragging and try not to stay on it for too long.
  • tell some small jokes: lighten up the mood once you get them laughing or laugh yourself some of the stress will be lifted from you.
  • shake their hands: most of the time for an interview there will be more than one person, as you walk in be sure to shake all of their hands. Do that while making eye contact, with a smile and a nod is always going to help you. Doing the same as you leave helps too.

And like the others have said: brush your teeth and/or chew some gum. Bad breath is not something you want while in an interview. Smile but not too and to answer in full sentences! Another thing that could help is if you bring your resume with you to the interview.
  • Pronouns: they/theirs/them
