How many sonas is too many for you?
« on: January 12, 2017, 01:55:25 pm »
How many sonas do you feel is too many? Do your prefer to stick to one or do you like to have a small army? Will you ever stop yourself from getting more?
Also please keep this in the context of yourself. The answers are different for everyone so please don't bash those who choose to have a lot of sonas

Personally for me I think 3 is the perfect amount. I seemed to always be the happiest and most organized with my sonas when I only had 3. I love all my (9) babies now and try to use them all but there always seem to be a few that are forgotten about and neglected. I wouldn't get rid of any of them though. I used to limit the amount of sonas I have but I don't really care anymore since I'm over my limit anyways :fox-:P: as long as I intend to actually use the character I'm ok with making/buying them

In general, to me it doesn't matter as long as I feel like they're all being used? Like, I might have mentioned this somewhere else but like, I have to like, physically restrain myself from most adopts because I WILL take them just cause they're pretty, and then I fear I'd never use them XD

The sweet spot for me is anywhere from 3-5, I think I'm at 3, if I don't count like, OCs.

I only have one right now because I'm so new, but I'd say three is the max for me, discounting OC's. It's all very good and impressive if someone can manage all their fifteen sonas, but I can barely care for a beda fish, much less use eight different characters. The only reason I'd have more than one is to role play or something similar. (plus finding time+money to draw/commission artwork for all of them wOw that sounds wild).

I'd place the limit at five, but if there is a legitimate reason for them to exist, there should be no such thing as "too many".

My personal limit is 2 or 3 even though I technically have four, but I have such a hard time managing my ungodly amount of OCs I really don't want a whole army of sonas that I most likely will only use once or twice. My two alts are only considered sonas cause they are more like exaggerations of myself as opposed to a random character and I plan on making/commissioning them into suits in the far future otherwise Nagi and Lorii are the only ones I use to represent the "real" me....I guess X3

I can really only manage one main sona, which would be Alastair. It's hard for me to imagine finding a character I connect with more than him.

I do, however, have an alt sona, Ivan, but he doesn't really get near the attention Alastair does. I still connect with Ivan more than my other OCs, but I don't think I could have more than one main sona.

For me, I don't think I'd be good at juggling more than maybe 3 sonas at once.

Unlimited, anyone can have as many sonas/adopts as they want-But too many causes confusion, and makes me loose track

Yeah idk I can barely handle 2 LOL. Whenever I draw or get art of one I feel like I'm neglecting the other hah.
Fun fact, I actually bought an adopt like half a year ago to use as a 3rd fursona but I haven't even named them yet so nobody's seen  :fox-:P:

For me personally, I could probably only manage 2 or 3 well. But when it comes to others, I say have as many as you like, as long as all have a purpose and they're all used in some way.

I personally would never have more than 3. I only have one right now and am OK with that. However, if someone wanted more than 3, I think people should do what makes them happy.

I currently have 4 main characters, and i love them all. I try not to have too many but there are just so many options for characters that it's hard to pick just one or a couple.

I have 9 actual fursonas, so really, I don't care all that much how much I end up with. I'm still willing to make more if I get any new ideas. My three main fursonas are still Foxi, Katsuro and Karasu, then Kyro and Raven come close behind, then, of course, there's Foxi's Pokémon Dusk and Midnight, and as for Silaluk and Shieru... they're both extremely new, so I don't even know what their status would be. Silaluk isn't even close to finished yet, honestly.

I've also used my main Warriors OC Rainpelt in a few drawings with Foxi, so I've been thinking about including her in some more stuff with my fursonas, since I don't really do any Warriors art anymore, but I like Rainpelt too much to kill off her idea. She won't be an actual fursona, technically, but I'll include her with them anyway.
