Nintendogs
« on: January 24, 2017, 09:41:45 pm »

I used to collect all the Nintendo consoles as a kid, and my first Nintendo was a pink DS model-

My first games were the Legend of Starfy, Pokemon Black and White, Dolphins101, and Lovely Lisa and Friends

But my most cherished game was Nintendogs, it took me weeks to figure out how to use the mircophone (for some reason your needed to name your dog before you can do anything else, so I would just train my dog and get him food and stuff)

I got into the game later on, and LOVED IT

I would do stupid glitches, and try to breed my dogs for ages (which is impossible, but is still believed to be achieved on the 'first' games). I don't play on the DS anymore (I have almost all the consoles) ever since I lost Animal Crossing New Leaf..Just something about the DS creeps me out..

Did you play Nintendogs as a kid? You can also talk about other games you liked on the DS-

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I used to spend all of my time playing Nintendogs
I was the master at agility and frisbee contests, but ten year old me didn't understand how to teach dogs tricks so I never won an obedience contest lmao
But yeah Nintendogs used to be my favorite thing

Aaah I use to play Nintendogs all the time when I was younger, my fav was my first pup a german shepherd who I named Lily she new a whole bunch of tricks and excelled at agility and frisbee contests and I was working on her obedience before I started losing interest. Pre-teen me was super proud of her >u<''
Although when I was younger I was super confused on why my pups never seemed to age, I remember waiting for my pup to grow into a strong looking german shep for the longest time :'D
I still have my copy around somewhere just not so interested ^^

Nintendogs was a HUGE part of my childhood. I would spend whole days doing nothing but playing with and training my dogs. Every Friday night my family and this other family would go out to the same restaurant, and their kids and my sister and I would spend the entire time visiting each other on Nintendogs so that we could get presents. Sometimes my sister and I would even just plug in our Nintendo and leave the game open all night so that when we woke up one of the dogs would have run away and then come back with a present
