Saving Private Ryan

Has anyone watched this movie here? It's one of Steven Spielberg's greatest masterpieces. The soundtrack, visuals and overall plot shows the true horrors of war, while making it engaging and (for the most part) realistic. This harrowing narrative of World War Two is a biased but nevertheless touching film that sends messages on how truly precious life is, and how everyone has a backstory and human emotions. I have been interested in all things WW2 for quite a while, so I'd want to know if any history enthusiasts share my opinion that this movie should be watched by more people so they can undestand war just a bit better.
