Recommended Canadian Cities?
« on: April 27, 2017, 10:36:25 pm »
(This is partially for school and partially for my own life-knowledge)

So, my Health class is making us write up "15-year plans." Basically, they're supposed to cover where we see ourselves in 15 years and what we want our futures to be like (where we'll live, what jobs we want, etc.). The problem is, I'm pretty sure I might move to Canada when I'm older, but I'm not sure which city I'd want to live in.

Can anyone recommend some Canadian cities? I'd prefer ones that are in British Columbia and aren't super expensive to live in (Vancouver seems cool, however I'm not too sure about the living costs), but I'll still appreciate other recommendations as well.

Thanks to anyone willing to help out!

Try looking up some Ontario cities. I'm biased because I live her of course but we do have some of the best most innovative places in the country. Toronto and Ottawa are the two you'll probably see the most about online but the cost of living in both is higher. If you like Toronto but not the price consider the GTA (greater Toronto area) there's some bigger cities like Mississauga around it that are cheaper and even smaller towns like Markam. If you go a bit farther away from Toronto you have Kitchener/Waterloo which is highly innovative in the fields of science and technology. Guelph has a great vet program at their university that they're known for (that's where Pidgeys vet is) but it's a nice city all around (Robert Much the author lives there). Cambridge, London and Barrie are some other popular ones you may want to look at. Great thing about most of these cities too is that they're within driving distance of Toronto

I can't recommend much out of the Provence though as I'm not familiar with other ones :fox-:P: I know quite a bit about Newfoundland and Labrador though it's pretty small and isolated so I doubt you want to live there. Also keep in mind that Quebec predominantly speaks French and while most of the bigger cities know French did the tourists a lot of the smaller ones still speak French

Hope that helps a bit ^^
