Fursuit for 640$?
« on: July 08, 2017, 09:43:16 pm »
So, Ill sum this up; I have a summer job that pays 20$ a weekday, so by August 22 Ill have 640$ (Not counting days I won't be able to work, or when I'm not told to come.) So, I'm wondering if anyone on here knows anyone that will make a suit, Partial or Plantigrade.

I know of no one who makes even heads for that low of price but if your looking for a decent partial I recommend you save at the very least 1000 dollars, for a planti suit 1500-2000.
You may be able to find some very beginner/new makers for that price though just be sure your buying cause you like their work and not just cause their cheap.
Good luck ^^
Also due to legal stuff and the fact minors are still growing a lot of makers don't make suits for minors Just keep that in mind when looking for a maker.

Basically this.

It'd be better to save up for a higher quality fursuit, and to get one when you know you've stopped growing.

No point spending an odd $640 on a poor quality fursuit that you'll only fit into for a few months or a year at best.

I do not know of any makers who will make a full suit for that price.
But a lot of good makers start partials or just heads around that price range

Like others said, you probably CAN find someone who will make it for that price, but it won't be good quality at all.
Your best bet is to either wait, ooorrr if you really just want a suit, you could look for a premade one you want to buy. My one partial suit I got for around $300 off Furbid ^^
You could also buy a resin or expanding foam base and try making a head yourself, and then commission the other parts  :fox-:P:

Like everyone else said its better to wait and get a more expensive quality suit. However there are some newer less experienced makers out there who charge less, I know there's a bunch on Amino for example ^^ just remember to buy a suit because you think they'd make your character well and not because they're cheap otherwise you'll end up dissapointed and $600 is a lot to spend on something so you want to make sure you love it :fox-;):
