Purchases that were well worth it

Do you ever buy something not sure if you really need it and then it turns out to be one of the better purchases you made?

For me I've had two recent purchases like this. The first was buying bird seed, I felt a bit weird and like it was going to be a waste of money but it totally wasn't! I go out every couple days (don't want the birds getting dependant otherwise I'd probably do it every day tbh) and feed the pigeons. It makes me so happy and really helps me cope. The other recent purchase was a hdmi cord, I didn't know if I'd actually use it much but it's been super helpful so far, I've started watching tv again which has improved my mood and got me out of my bedroom

I bought Pixie some birdbread mix-- this isn't the first time I've bought it, but when I ship it home to my mom she puts random seasonal ingredients in like pumpkin and cinnamon and stuff, and Pixel just LOVES it, and it keeps his calcium up ^^

Honestly, it would probably sound really, really corny but probably one of the best purchases I ever made was getting Minecraft. I don't play it anymore now but I played the crap out of that game for years and I'm not entirely sure I will ever really find a game I put that many hours into again. But far better the enjoyment I had with that game was the friendships I forged thanks to it and the experiences I was able to have because of it. It's really brought me closer to other people and helped me to overcome some of my own social anxieties. It provided a chance to really bond with other people and I learned a lot from all my own absolutely countless failures and arguments. I was a pretty horrid person when I was younger and I can't say that I would be who I am today if I didn't have the chance to fall so I could pick myself up and learn from my mistakes to be better.

ON a far lighter note, not long after I started working I picked up a pretty pricey headset for sale on Amazon at something like half off and I've been using it ever since. It's lasted far longer than any other I've bought before which is great because I don't have to keep buying new pairs now. I also got my Huion Graphics Tablet not too, too long ago and it certainly a massive step up from using a mouse and an invaluable asset for drawing and even in some rare cases, shading pixel art.

I've got this pair of harem pants that are black with elephants and orange flowers on them. They're understated enough that they don't scream "I'm a wannabe hippy" but are still super comfortable. I've probably worn (and swam once) them through everything, and they're probably the best overpriced thing I've bought at a music festival so far.
