Do you decorate for holidays?
« on: October 10, 2017, 09:36:13 am »
I'm curious who decorates their homes for holidays? If so do you decorate for them all or just a select few?

Since I was no longer a kid we've only usually decorated for Christmas. We'd pull out some Halloween decorations on Halloween day for the trick or treaters and stopped decorating for Easter entirely. We'd always go all out for Christmas though since it's mine and my moms favourite holiday. Since I moved out this year though I bought some Halloween decorations and put them up on the first, my dorm room looks so festive ;v; we'll of course decorate for Christmas at home but I also intend to decorate my dorm room for Christmas and I'm hoping to decorate for Easter and possibly Valentine's Day too

The only thing we really decorate for is Easter and Christmas. Other holidays we might just put one little themed item on our kitchen table.
Christmas we go all out though, and I love it.

Nope. Not anymore, since we don't have the money and time to.
I want to, though. I'd love to have a Halloween house all October or a Christmas house all December. :c

This is the first time I decorated for a holiday
For Christmas we would just throw a tree up that's it
But now that my mom is working now too we have more money
So we decorated the yard for Halloween the other day

My family usually decorates for Halloween and Christmas, and sometimes on Easter Day as well. Halloween is pretty low-key, just leaf garlands around the window and random fake pumpkins scattered about the house, but we really go all out for Christmas. We puts lights all over the house and bushes, and once my dad even sprayed that fake frost on the windows (since it doesn't snow here).

Brevity is the soul of wit (and signatures), and thus, I will be keeping this on the short side, except I guess it's kind of long now....

I miss decorating so bad ;-; We used to go all-out for every holiday, but it stopped after my parents got divorced aaaand now I'm in a tiny place with a) no money for decorations and b) nowhere to put them even if I wanted to. We don't even have a good spot for a tree which breaks my heart so much. Putting ornaments on the tree was probably my favorite holiday tradition.

It'll just be that much better when I get an actual house, though  :lol-fox:
