Halloween stores
« on: October 14, 2017, 09:27:15 am »
Anyone else love those Halloween pop up stores such as Spirit Halloween or Halloween Alley?

I've been looking this year and so far I haven't found any :c I suppose I could go to their websites but it's always more fun stumbling upon them :fox-:P: I don't recall ever actually buying anything at them since they're really overpriced but I still love going every year and seeing all the things they have

YES I love to walk around in them! I'm happy because they were kinda a rarity growing up but they're more common here since we live in a bigger city now. I miss getting costumes there ;-;

Tbh, I think it's sad because most of them pop up where major stores were a long time ago. Like in Huntsville, Alabama the former location of Kmart, the old Walmart, and the old Old Navy.

I love Halloween stores. They're kind of expensive, but I always find neat stuff at them. I like looking at the array of cosmetics and makeup, especially stuff for injuries and complex designs.

At RocCon, this past year, there was one really close to the convention center, so a friend and I went there, fursuiting. I wish I'd gotten photos.

Aah I love those Halloween stores, I just love the set ups they have and looking at the decorations and such. Its a little pricey but worth it to me as they generally have better quality things(depending on what you get of coarse) only place at the moment I'll buy my Halloween costumes since cheaper ones felt so..well cheap xux (Some costumes are the same as the cheap ones in walmart though so it really just depends)
There's always one or two that pop up in my area ^^

We have spirit Halloween here but if you want decor you might as well go to walmart or target. Their prices are more reasonable

Really the only Halloween store around here is party city. So I'm doomed to costumes that smell weird and don't even fit.

There's a Party City nearby and it's pretty cool! The selection always runs out though close to Halloween.
