Age: 17-ish
Species: Bat or pine marten
Hobbies and Interests: Math (dur) but also writing, especially poetry and short stories! And come to me with your calculus questions, because I really love helping people out. Oh, and I love art (although I'm better at rough sketches than finished drawings). Roleplay is neat, too, although I'm not very good at it.
I'm also weirdly knowledgeable about college applications in the US due to a stint on CollegeConfidential... for all the good that'll do me, come next fall.
Favorite furry media: I've sort of fallen out of touch with this stuff, but... I was a huge fan of Robin Hood in my day. You know the one.
What I want to do here: I wanna hang out, make some chill furry friends. There aren't a ton in my geographical region, ifykwim, and there's really no substitute! Hopefully y'all feel like putting up with a huge nerd.
Anything else you'd like us to know: I like chatting on IRC; it's more personal than forum posts and better for my attention span than PM. So, if you wanna talk to me, that's a neat way to do it!

The friend of mine who first got me involved with the fandom said the marten suited me, and (after some elated research) it just stuck! Those merry mustelids have that same sort of frantic energy I do.

It sort of just happened. Slowly, at first- an account here, a faved pic there- and then suddenly it was part of my identity! No doubt that had something to do with the community's openness. I definitely didn't feel nearly as comfortable discussing my character and identity before joining the fandom. Something about a fresh coat of fur, eeh?

Oh, gosh, I'm a total film nerd!
Hmm, lessee. I take a lot of guilty pleasure in schlocky B-movies-- just, like, the whole genre. Indy films are cool, old stuff is cool-- but don't get me wrong, I'd happily watch just about anything. Movies are too much fun! I have some specific favorite movies, but they're weird and I don't want to come off as too pretentious ;~;
I saw IT the other day, and that was super great! So stuff like that, I guess, haha.

As for TV shows, well, I've been burning through Netflix's offerings haha (Ozark, Cleverman (which I super-recommend), Mindhunter, etc) and recently tried to give Twin Peaks another go (I hear awesome things about the director but I haven't been able to appreciate his stuff, woops)! Gotham has been keeping me busy. Oh, woah, is that Donnie Darko? Um, I'll be right be back...
Edit: I almost forgot, but Community is especially dear to my heart!

Edit: I also have this deep-seated, unqualified love of animated shows, particularly Futurama

I like all sorts of stuff! Lately I've been playing mainly Cuphead, RS6, CSGO and Dead By Daylight (all on Steam), even though a) I'm terrible at all of them and b) I rarely have time to get a good play session in. Not when there's so much stuff to do... ;~;

We don't mention it, sadly it's kinda illicit here. Yes, we do have one. We aren't allowed to talk to one though, since it might classify as a chat room.

Actually the IRC is fine to both use and talk about, being that it's upheld by the staff of FT, so we actually have the authority to take action if something was to happen there.
The issues with chat rooms that are linked to FT, is that we staff have no authority in them to do anything if something went down.
