Frustration about heat/cold tolerance?
« on: November 08, 2017, 11:39:26 pm »
(I mean this as a separate discussion of my issue outside of the Hot/Cold topic because I know if I say this there I won't get ANY attention from it anyways.)

So I prefer warm weather. In the summer I feel like there's more to do other than shivering inside. I can go for a run outside comfortably, go for a hike, ride a bike around, play sports games and such.
People say they hate summer because they're sweating all the time but I don't really sweat as much unless I'm doing some activity in the summer and I don't mind feeling sweaty either.

In the winter things are a bit different. Winter means SAD and shivering all the time since I'm skin and bone.

But I don't entirely hate cold? It's nice to not be sweating and such. But then it means sitting inside more. Sure there's snow but to be very fair snow gets old after having it around constantly for a month. Honestly I think I spend more time indoors in winter than summer.

To be honest though, don't people end up really just liking getting warm anyways? I know few people who can stand being in cold weather and trust me. If you stick me and another person outside in 30F weather in t-shirt and shorts I'm going to start turning blue and shivering in 10 mins.

I reaaally prefer being cold, or at least surrounded by cold! I like air conditioning on max, I like having a fan near my bed...
However, my true optimum condition (or natural state, if you will) is being smothered by blankets in a chilly environment. Mmmn.

I greatly prefer cold, but I might have to reconsider the decision after last night I wore a thin flannel with no shirt underneath in the cold, windy weather. I'm beginning to think I might prefer the heat.

I like heat, but cold aswell. All depends on where I'm at though. If I'm in the Netherlands (my home), please give me all the heat. Yet I always get cold weather, because weather here is dumb.

But when I'm in Tenessee visiting my half-brother, it's practically always hot.
