Anyone play D&D?
« on: December 12, 2017, 08:45:50 pm »
I love the game (a little to much :fox-:P:).
REcently my Chaotic-Good Bard that I had been using for about a year and had grown quite attached to died, so RIP Samson the Halfling Bard.
Now I'm playing a Kenku artificer, so I guess he's a furry (Feathery?), and that's exciting :badger:.

Seriously, wolverines are super uncommon fursonas.

German thingy of the day:
Did you know that the German word for girl is neuter? The word is Mädchen. Let's break it apart. -chen is the diminutive(little) suffix, which automatically makes it neuter. Mäd is not a word (mädchen is a really old word that fossilized), but it derives from magd, which mean ... maid. Little maid. Ouch. But wait! When Magdchen (mädchen) became a word, Magd meant girl. So when it came about, Mädchen meant little girl. It became one morphological unit and now it just means girl. It's actually cognates with maiden!

yes!!! I'm playing with 5e and using a crazy half-elf warlock for normal campaigning. My friends and I will also sometimes mix in 3.5 rules and use anthropomorphic characters for sillier campaigns, and when we do that, I'm a cheetah ranger. You can find info for that in the 3.5e Savage Species.

I might start an online campaign, just got a brand new 5e detailed campaign module, (bc I'm pretty awful and creating them myself) if anyone is interested! I don't encourage finding illegal copies but there are probably pdfs online of the core rulebooks, (though having a physical copy is much better!) There are also free character sheets online too.

I have always wanted to but have never had a group-- I just got my first dice set too! Might play with my BF and friends sometime, but I really love thinking of characters and their stats for it ^^
