Hot or Cold
« on: June 28, 2008, 01:59:48 pm »
What do you prefer, hot weather or cold weather?

I'm used to cold weather, and I prefer it because it's easy to bundle up and get warmer. I hate hot weather. It's too hot right now.

I prefer hot weather because I get cold extremely easily. If it's under 90 degrees or something like that, I'm freezing. And even in 90 degree weather I'm still cold.  :sad-fox:

Neither, really. Coldness is more practical, cause it's often easier to stay warm in cold weather than it is to stay cool in hot weather. And if you have no more blankets to throw off your bed then it's a problem. But as long as it doesn't get that warm, I prefer warm.

I favour hot weather during the day...I'm actually perfectly comfortable when it's 100 d farenheit over here. I love it!

I like the cold at night though...cuddling for warmth can be good. ;3

I like cold weather, cause I don't like sweating and with hot weather there is only so much you can take off. With cold weather you can just put more on to get to your comfort temperature. (Not to mention its more fun to cuddle with someone when its cold then when it's hot.)

I like cold weather, being from Wisconsin I'm used to it, and with cold weather I like the safe feeling of bundling up and grabbing some hot chocolate. It's too hot where I live sometimes, and there's sometimes only limited options to cool off.
My signature needs a change. It's been four years.

Best answer yet.

I feel most comfortable in temperatures around 25 degrees C. 20-25 is allright but I prefer being able to wear shorts throughout the day, and when it's 20 during the day it often cools to 15 in the late evening, so to not have to change I have to wear warmer clothes. 25-30 is generally best, but at 30 it often starts to get too hot, and above 30 is too hot to sleep properly.

Whats done is done. You can't change the past any more then you can change the number of stars in the sky. However, you can change the future, and when it comes to that, I have but one thing to say, and that is "Go for it". Because, when you're old and crippled, the things you'll regret most are the things you never did.

1 - you can cloth you against it, can't do that with warmth at the edn

2 - You are more active when it's cold, I hate being lazy

Normally I would say cold, for basically the same reasons that have already been voiced, but recently I've found myself enjoying the 90oF+ weather.  So for now, both.

Really? The cold always puts me to sleep...>.> So my room is always freezing at night.

I mean normally overdays, your body will want to move to keep warm and therefor is active. When in bed the sheats will make you warm which doesn't require you to move to get warm anymore. The extra warmth only makes your body too warm under the blankets which gives a bad sleep. A cold room is good for sleeping overall.

Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm moving, I want it cold, the more movement I do the colder I want it, if I'm locking myself into my room to play computer all day, I almost liked the American summer when I was in the US (too humid though).
Overall, cold. I handle it well at extremes (I can wear a t-shirt in the middle of the winter, but if I'm sitting in a cold breeze in the spring, i usually wear a shirt (dunno why, I just am more stubborn when there's more force against me)), and I strongly dislike sweating.

I've never really felt the cold until it gets REALLY bad and then it doesn't bother me too much.

I don't work well in hot weather.
