Hmmm...

- The people are great.
- The admins and mods are great.
- The atmosphere in general is great.
- There are lots of people I can at least in some ways relate to.
- I can bumb old topics if I want to! I really don't understand why that is usually frowned upon... o.o

Oh, and also because this place is awesome.

I like this forum since tne population of awesome people and furs.

Plus, as said above, no asshats of some admins, and the admins can take a joke as well!

Only forum that doesn't mind my behaviour! <3

Speaking of that, can someone explain why it is that so many forums have an explicit rule against bumping old threads, yet also have an explicit rule against making new threads on a subject an old thread answered? Seems to me they should decide on one or the other...
(Some of them have unwritten rules, but they're still rather clear if you stick around)
"Life's journey is not about arriving at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy Shit, what a ride""
"Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means you are two steps ahead"
"Invoke not common sense, for it is not common"
"A life without joy is a wasted one, and you got but one to waste."
"To touch the clouds, you need to reach for the stars"

My reason is simple... I can talk to a community mainly of teens around my age without fear of a 50 year-old perv talking to me...
*My fursona: -Anthro Dragon(Shapeshifter)
-wears collar and tail-strap...
-Color found here, http://blackfox1210.deviantart.com/art/Zeth-2-0-93337840
-has a long tail(Thick and about 1/2 his size, 6' 4")
-digitgrade feet

I'm revoking your right to have a species. You are now an amoeba >.>

To add to my other reasons I also like that most of the posts here actually mean something and seem like the answers are from people that actually care about someone else. Half of the forums I've read before seem like the people are either jerks or robots.

At E-Studios we specifically make a difference between rules and guidelines. Rules must be followed, while guidelines are the kind of stuff you should follow if you don't want other members to eat your head off.

Quote from the guidelines section:
Quote
Don't repeat what has been said
Don't start a new thread unless you are certain that there are no previous threads about the same, and that you are not simply repeating what has been said in an older thread. Don't simply repeat yourself either. If a thread you created gets little attention, don't post another identical thread and don't repeatedly post in your thread in an attempt to draw attention. Just leave it. There is probably a reason people have not posted in your thread in the first place!

Do not post in old threads
If a thread did not get any new posts for a while, then it is probably no longer interesting to any of the board's members. Don't bring it back up by posting in it, unless you are absolutely sure that the thread is still relevant. If you revive an old thread, the problem the thread was about might have been solved long ago, or people might have simply forgotten about it entirely. So don't revive old threads unless you absolutely have to. And even then, try to explain clearly why you sought to awaken the dead...
The only exception to this is the 'Serial Spammers' forum. Because topics there never lose relevance due to their ongoing nature, it's ok to revive old topics there. But even so, be aware that some topics were abandoned for a reason. Even if you thought the topic was too good to be abandoned, not everyone else might agree.

I already replied to this, but on a more personal note, I like this site because I feel I can really be myself here, moreso than a lot of other sites I visit.  That means a lot to me :-)

Open-minded people, stick to their opinions... HAVE opinions...
Very intelligent, don't use that strength to condescend. (Least not that I've seen, anyway)
Free spirited.
Many of ya are down-to-earth.
I always get at least one laugh every time I read some of your posts.
Many point of views are given that make me think.
The wisdom here is shared, and knowledge is the most addicting thing in my life.
Many species here.
Completely cancel the stereotypical views of furries.

God bless (if it applies)

Welcoming, too.

Did I mention that the intelligence here is almost... intimidating? It's like reading an essay some 80-year-old mage wrote.
But it's good, it's like SAT prep for me, 'cause then I get to define some of the words you say then it's stuck with me forever.
I think I'm gonna pass.
My SATs.

Nice site.

I like that usually when I'm bored I can come here and talk with people. Except for today, where there's 9 people on and no one posting.

This place is... unequivocally friendly! =P Other furry boards are no match. I was immensely touched when, within 24 hours of posting my intro, a staggering 4 furs hence had contacted me outside the board. I'm not sure if the people here understand how very, very rare that is...

So thank you all, for reinstating my faith in... not exactly humanity, but furaffinity. ^^ Humans, I think, still, for the most part, suck. (Hehe, too many commas in that last sentence... >>; )

Echoing off Hale as well, something I tool for granted, but noticed after reading his post above: Y'all are smart. o.o; Like, compared to the rest of the internet, this here is a breeding ground of intelligence and good feeling! I'm amazed; I thought these places were a myth.

Y'all are smart.

...right? I think I've learned 23 new vocabulary words since coming here...
But, soon even us newbies (been here since June, so I'm kinda one) will get used to it and write essays here.

I'm not exaggerating!

Well, I like this site because there is always something new. Also it is my first furry community as well. As I've seen with MANY threads there's either alot of negativity, or the thread/community just dies.

(Amusing this is the first place I post too after not being on here in months.)
I will steal your soul and use it's eternal pain and anguish to light my desk lamp.
