P2P in words only...

How's it going fellow furs?

Just thought it strange that there wasn't really anything about music here. I felt it might be an interesting idea for each of us to share the names of some of our fave songs and artists. It can be difficult to find specific songs that are good, especially for less well known ones, so all opinions are duly welcome.

I tend to prefer songs with meaningful lyrics. Songs that convey emotion well and make you think as well as enjoy. A lot of what I like falls under the category of alternative rock. Here are a few specific songs I've tried and tested for excellence and all worth a listen, if not many listens.

" Vindicated " by Dashboard Confessionals.
" Who I Am " by Smile Empty Soul.
" Silhouettes " by Smile Empty Soul.
" Meant To Live " by Switchfoot.
" Did You " by Hoobastank.

Happy listening. ^_^
" You can't change the world but you can make a dent in it. "
" The one thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail. "
" Sometimes light is really dark. Sometimes good is really stark. Sometimes Winter feels like Spring. Don't think you know everything. "
" I prefer to think of it as misunderstood. Aren't we all? "

* Jethro Tull: "Aqualung", the album, and Too Old To Rock 'N Roll.
* Moonsorrow: Sankarihauta (Warrior's Grave) and Hiidenpelto (The Field Of The Devil).
* Lou Reed: Men Of Good Fortune, Harry's Circumcision, Hello It's Me and Perfect Day.
* Iggy Pop: Inferiority Complex, Private Hell, Long Distance and 'Til Wrong Feels Right.

My favorites.... Oh, and:

* Monty Python: Finland Song, Galaxy Song and Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life! ^.^
